Two questions just to make sure you didn\'t miss them:

1) Did you replace the vfs.cfg file with the one in the first post?
1.a) If you have, has the updater been run since you did that/

2) Are you trying to start psclient through the terminal?

3) Are there any error messages in the Console application?

Okay, so I can\'t count.

Edit: This is to santagonewrong.  I didn\'t see the two post on this page.

You have to relight the area. Quit when you are in the dungeon.
Open Terminal. Type cd (and a space), drag your planeshift folder to the terminal window. Hit return. Type ./psclient.app/Contents/MacOS/psclient -relight. Hit return. Log on when the window open. Sit back and wait. When the game finally has loaded, then quit and start again by normal double-clicking.
If you do it right, it solves the problem.

Note that when you login with \"-relight\" it will take an EXCEPTIONALLY long time to load (times over half an hour have been reported on some of the older computers and bigger areas). This is normal for \"-relight\" and you\'ll have to be patient.

Use control-click. Then select \"Download File,\" \"Save File,\" etc. Whatever it is (depends on your OS).

One more question about relighting  do you have to keep the terminal open ever time you go on planeshift or just when your loading it up after youve told it to relight in the terminal?

You don\'t have to keep the terminal open once you have relighted and quit planeshift. You start as normal by doubleclicking the program, and the new light are still there.
Yes you can use the relight in any area, but it should not be necessary other than the dungeons.

Try fixing permissions as there may be a permissions problem in your Planeshift 3D folder somewhere preventing the new lightmap from being saved.

To do this, open Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility. Select your hard drive (the second, silver disk in the list; it should be indented). Then click \"Repair Disk Permissions.\" It should run for a few minutes.

Once that\'s done, quit Disk Utility and try relighting again.
