Since the other thread was closed for some reason, letme explain a thing or 2 about bug exploiting in general, refering to weakness more in particular.
Fact 1: If it is reported and confirmed on the bug tracker then it is a bug.
Fact 2: If it creates an advantage for you or a disadvantage for the other players it is an exploitable bug.
Fact 3: If you are abusing it you are exploiting a bug.
Fact 4: If you are exploiting a bug there will be consequences.
Now, about the weakness bug...
Here's "how the f*** casting a spell in the normal fashion" (to quote Beanius's "friend") can be called an exploit:
The bug regarding the weakness spell is reported and confirmed on the BT (bug no# 1538)
The intention for that spell was to stop the player from moving when encumbered, not to cause him/her droping inventory items.
So, fact 1 and 2 are satisfyed.
Besides, I asked Talad's oppinion and he said that since the spell is not working like it should and can create an advantage for certain individuals, it goes under the category of bug exploits.
And that will make the fact 4 a posibility if you are caught.
And to quote Beanius's "friend" once more "If this is truly a bug, they why the hell doesn't someone simply remove the Weakness glyphs from the game? That spell is utterly useless now that it's function is considered "exploiting" and casting a spell is now a bannable offense."
Because the bug is already fixed from what I heared and the aforementioned effect will be gone at the next update.
