i must say im shocked and appalled at some of the nasty comments here. i see guilds everywhere that have no specific goals or tasks, they just wander the land like everyone else.

Your guild isn't extremely original, but as Osmo said, its your guild. I don't think anyone (just about anyone) made any post in here that actually was out of line or anything.. if you post a guild up expect criticism. You're lucky to have a good amount of constructive criticism here. I think everyone was just trying to help you out. I wish you the best...

As for those maps.  They are all over the net.  I boosted the same ones from another guild site for the templars.  I've done the same for quest solutions, trainer locations etc.  They are all over if you know where to look.

People shouldn't "boost" maps from other websites because that means, first, braking a bunch of laws (namely the law regarding intelectual property), and second, it is rude and disrespectful regarding other's work. Why don't you copy the whole website from another guild that you like and change only the title page then ?

   It was a sunny day with almost no clouds in the sky and a bearded man armed with great weapons and blood stains on his boots stood on a hill thinking about the current condition of the world. He had fought many battles and some were won and some were lost. He had seen many young warriors fall to the deadly hand of evil. Gruesome creatures lurked about just waiting to tear innocent weary travelers limb from limb and devour their remains. People were driven from their homes by fearsome creatures of unimaginable strength and size. This man had been a warrior all his life and had fought every known creature of this world. He lived by the sword.

   As he thought about his life and all he had seen suddenly a great lightning bolt came forth from the otherwise clear sky and struck the man down. He lay unconscious and had a dream where he saw a being of the likes of which he had never beheld. It was a humanoid looking being with a skin as light as snow encircled with an aura of light as radiant as the sun. The creature had four arms each with a large wing attached, the arms had large hands with long fingers almost as long as the blade of a sabre with razor sharp nails. It had a diamond ring on the ring finger of three of its hands with the fourth without a ring. Each ring had a stone of a different color. One was red, one was green and one was blue. The warrior looked at this mysterious creature and asked "Who are you? What is your name?".

   The creature responded in a gruff voice "Mortal man you do not have the mind nor comprehension to fully understand what I am and my name is of no consequence to you. However you being human almost definitely have a curious mind which is the nature of your race. So I shall give you an answer that may alleviate your inferior mind. I am from what you would call another realm, another plane of existence. Long ago an evil mage with very great and awesome power found a rare stone made of pure and unpolluted magic. He used his great knowledge of the ways of magic to create four stones each with astounding power. One was red and it increased his natural power to manipulate chaos and demonic beings a thousand fold. One was green and it allowed him to create gateways to other worlds where he could search for unethical beings to ally with him to create a horde of minions to be used for the purpose of evil. One was blue and it gave him a perception beyond normal space and time. One was dark black like coal and gave him the power to corrupt the souls of unsuspecting beings."

    The creature continues "This mage used these rings to construct an army of size and power which the beings of all realms had never seen. I and others of my race took counsel with each other and after a long time decided that there was no way to defeat this dreaded army in battle. We however had another plan. We would simply combine our powers and teleport to the location of the evil mage and destroy him alone. We knew that the army was only following the mage because of the great power the rings gave him and if we could vanquish the mage or take the rings from him the army would become disorderly and the beings would most likely start to destroy each other and the remaining scattered minions could easily be taken care."

   The creature continues "So all of my race combined their power and teleported close to mages location. We attacked the mage and fought grievously in an effort to kill him but he stood and withheld our attacks and killed most of my comrades. Eventually the few of us remaining finally slew the mage and took the rings of power. As we thought would happen the mages dark army became chaotic and started fighting amongst themselves unfortunately though the remaining few of us found ourselves in the midst of this chaotic battle. Me and my colleagues fought for our survival but at the end I was the only one left alive. I was the last of my race and I knew that I had the responsibility to make sure a travesty like this never fell upon the land again. From that day forth I begot the solemn duty of guarding the four powerful rings. At first I kept the rings in a leather sack tied around my waist."

   The creature continues "As time went on I found that word got out to some that I had in my possession the four powerful rings. Many became envious and desired the rings. I had to fight many warriors on a regular basis to keep the rings safe from the hands of those who would misuse them. But alas I found the task was becoming too difficult and decided to wear the rings myself to aid in my defense. For a while I was able to fend off all of the beings that desired the rings. Eventually however the dark black ring started to take hold of me and I did not see its effect on me until it was too late. Eventually it corrupted my mind and I became overconfident. I decided that I was so powerful that I should not wait to be attacked but instead I should seek out anyone who lusted for my rings. I killed many beings just because I suspected they had interest in the rings. I did not realize I had become almost as evil as the mage who had constructed the rings!!"

   The creature continues "One night I had a dream where i saw the evil mage who we had defeated and he told me he had casted a resurrection spell on the dark black ring and that the spell relied on the force of evil. The spell was made so that when a being with a sufficiently evil soul wore the ring the spell would become active and use the evil essence of the wearer to resurrect him in the case of his death. I awoke abruptly and felt a cold chill go up my spine. To my horror the dark mage appeared suddenly before me wearing the dark black ring and then vanished in thin air!! Ever since then the realms have never been the same. Evil has become more dominant as the mage regains his old power. I must find the mage before he can regain the strength that he once had. It once took the last of my race to defeat the mage and now only I remain. It is up to me to find him and defeat him and find a way to keep the rings out of the hands of everyone forever!! I have come to you Malfini to ask for your help. While I have been concentrating on finding and defeating this mage the world has become more and more treacherous by the day. I need you to help combat the horrid creatures that lurk about to devour the weak and defenseless. Will you help?"

   The bearded warrior known as Malfini looks at the being and says "Well that was an awful long story... But sure I'll help.".The powerful mysterious four armed being smiled and Malfini suddenly awoke. Since then Malfini has created a band of brave honorable warriors to help combat evil in the land and that is how the Sentinels guild came to be.
