* Esanor wonders about the closed guild hall, everyone in the Stone Labyrinths?

Where did Keeper Hangatyr go?

To the Dwarven brothers and sisters of the Hammer and the members of the Yliakum community.

It’s a sad day that I must stand here and tell you of a great loss to our guild. Brodr Grampus passed away last year.  As a tribute to our honoured brodr, for us to remember and a chance to say goodbye to such a noble dwarf and friend there will be a ceremony on the 9th February at 18:00 GMT at the lrifion River at OJA Road2.
He will be missed by all of us, but will be in our hearts forever.

Lumi says: we are at the guild hall, ready to go
Thoraro says: we start to move, Lumi you start
Thoraro says: brodrs, line up
Hangatyr says: regroup and line up
Dalos says: drop the coffin.. it's heavy
Hangatyr says: Ready?
Jots says: aye
Lumi says: Yes
Hangatyr says: And march
Rheos says: aye
Krestal says: Hi Hammers, I was waiting for you, jump on board
Hangatyr says: Krestal we need a ride to the Irifon river
Lumi says: Thank you Krestal
And the pterosaur flies you to the Irifon River...
Thoraro says: Line up brodrs and sistr
Eonwind slightly smiles with an approving nod, looking at pork stand
Eonwind slightly bows to Paradoxa
Dalos looks at Hangatyr
Hangatyr says: Lift up the coffin, pallbearers, let's carry it down to the raft
Thoraro says: Brodrs and sistr, raise your hammers!!
Thoraro says: To Brodr Grampus!
Lumi raises her hammer for Grampus
Rheos looks out to the raft
Rheos says: Brodrs, Sjestrs
Lumi sighs with sadness
Thoraro steps forward:  brodrs can we clear the platform for those who wish to say a few words.. please take a seat around the tents
Thoraro says: Thank you brodr.. Brodr Rheos I believe you will go first..But i would like to say that, we may have lost a brodr today but he gave us so much to remember!
Thoraro claps: Brodr Rheos
Dalos nods
Lumi nods
Rheos greets Anysu and motions her towards the others
Rheos says: Brodrs, Sjestrs... family, friends..
Rheos says: We have travelled from the far ends of Yliakum to say farewell to one of our own
Grimal listens to Rheos and nods
Rheos says: Grampus was known to many across this land... and known as a friend.
Lumi smiles to herself as she remembers..
Cryptus raises his mug: Here's toGrampus. ayhe still be having fun.
Rheos says: He was a fine crafter and a family dwarf and never one to shirk from a battle or from a drinking contest
Rheos says: He will be missed
Rheos turns and salutes towards the raft
Trasok raises his mug: to your last travel brodr
Cryptus raises his mug: Here's to Grampus. May he still be having fun.
Lumi smiles to Cryptus then looks at Thoraro
Thoraro says: Now Our Keeper would like to say a few words
Hangatyr says: As the Keeper of the Hammer me greets all friends of them, Paradoxa and Peiti and all others who joined us on this sad occasion
Hangatyr says: With Grampus we lost a good friend, a proud member of the Hammers and this realm, may we all keep the good memories.
Hangatyr says: Brodrs and sistrs, raise you mugs a last time to honour Grampus, may he wait for us in the great hall so we can drink and laugh again together.
Anysu smiles and raises her new mug
Lumi raises her hammer : " To Grampus, we will see you brodr!"
Anysu says: "To Grampus."
Damola looks around a bit awkwardly and moves next to Gova
Hangatyrson says: me mug is empty, where to get a refill?
Rheos and Grimal move to hide the barrel
Thoraro says: Brodrs and sistr, Friends and Family .. We have lady Paradoxa here with us.. loving wife of Grampus.
Thoraro says: We are all sorry for your loss
Paradoxa says: I would just say this He was a good man and I miss him
Thoraro smiles
Dalos deeply bows to Paradoxa
Thoraro says: Thank you m'lady i know how hard this must be
Thoraro says: Now i will need a good bowman for this
Lumi looks at Dalos.
Anysu looks curious
Thoraro says: Would our Keeper come forward
Thoraro says: Please would you make the first salute to brodr Grampus
Damola steps a bit closer to the group of dwarven
Hangatyr reaches out for the bow, selects carefully an arrow
Lumi observes Hangatyr.
Thoraro says: Brodrs, hold your Hammers high in our last goodbye to a great brodr and Friend!
Hangatyr aims the raft, pulls the string back to his cheek and releases the arrow....
Damola watches the ritual
Anysu holds up her smith hammer
Eriz holds his hammer high: Goodbye Grampus!
Rheos raises his battle hammer
Lumi raises her hammer to the sky and salutes : " To Grampus!"
Thoraro hold his hammer high "Brodr GRAMPUS!"
Anysu raises her smith Hammer and says "For Grampus."
Hangatyr aims again, sending a second arrow
[1: gossip] Damola: Not sure whether I saw this many Hammers in one place in PS ever before
Lumi bows her head to Gonger as a salute
[1: gossip] Rheos: you missed the old days then
[Channel] [1: gossip] Thoraro: aye
Hangatyr says: Can't think that me missed again, ne
[1: gossip] Anysu: It is really great to see so many!!
[1: gossip] Lumi: I agree Anysu, i missed that
[1: gossip] Migg: have some cool screenshots, setting is impressive
[1: gossip] Anysu: Having been here a long time, aye I miss that as well.
Lumi is scratches her head
[1: gossip] Gonger: Is that a funeral pyre in the river? Sorry for being late...
[1: gossip] Damola nods "Well I have been in PS for a middle long time"
[1: gossip] Lumi: Yes Gonger
[1: gossip] Thoraro: yes.. Gonger
[1: gossip] Gonger: Even Eonwind is online...
Damola quietly waves to Migg
[1: gossip] Gonger: I will get a closer look of the pyre later, I do not wish to disturb the ceremony.
[1: gossip] Anysu: I would like to get a closer look at it as well.
Hangatyr take the last of the arrows, lighting it up with a spell. The arrowhead is engulfed in flames as he aims again carefully ... releasing it ...
[1: gossip] Lumi: There are flames but we are too far to see them
[1: gossip] Eonwind: it's a touching ceremony
[1: gossip] Damola: At least there is a keg of ale on it :)
[1: gossip] Damola: But that is to be expected
[1: gossip] Anysu: of course if it goes up in flames and sinks....
[1: gossip] Lumi: yes exactly
Anysu cheers and follows the others
Lumi follows Hangatyr's arrow with her eyes
Lumi looks at the flames
[1: gossip] Anysu: It all has a very Norse feel to it.
[1: gossip] Gonger: Unreal Engine wishlist item 28349: Give GMs the possibility to clear an area of all NPCs during an event.
Anysu bows her head
Thoraro bows
Gonger removes his helmet, and bows his head.
Damola bows towards the pyre
Lumi start to sing a dwarven sad song
Hangatyr shouts: To all friends of the Hammers, lets have a drink together at the Broken Barrel and let's share stories and tales everyone!
Thoraro calls out "It was an honour to stand with you, brodr Grampus!"
(Hangatyr salutes a last time and turns around
Thoraro walks away, wiping a tear that runs down his cheek
Anysu raises her hammer in one hand and a mug in the other and says, "To Grampus!"
Gonger shouts: Gone but never forgotten! Grampus, keep the Great Tavern warm, and the beer cold until we meet there!
[1: gossip] Migg: most impressive funeral in PS, at least for me
[1: gossip] Anysu: Indeed it was
Migg says: Grampus, I never knew you, but may you forever feast in the halls of your ancestors!
Rheos says: Tis time to head to the broken barrel and drink to his memory
Migg says: Aye
Anysu says: "I did not know him either, but may his memory live on in stories.
Gonger says: To Grampus!
Thoraro says: Shall we make our way back to the tavern
Eonwind nods
Lumi says: Sure
[1: gossip] Glorgal: wow. so many people online.
Migg says: The broken barel, or Kada's?
Eriz licks his lips, thinking of the beer
[1: gossip] Anysu: cool 23
[1: gossip] Migg: it's the funeral
Thoraro says: broken barrel
Damola ponders "I can also open the Stonehead Tavern for this occasion."
Damola nods "Sure."
Anysu says: "I look forward to using my new mug. Keeps drink always cold."

Since years (more than 10 yearsnow), The Way of the Hammer has its own shop, called the "Iron Hammer Shop"
here is an updated version of their catalog, (some part still ongoing):

hello
What a wonderful catalogue a piece of art on himself but can i suggest you  to write somewhere inside than everything is virtually hand crafted only by menbers of the guild ?
in a land full of merchants from others land caravans and all it is a good information to know

Hangatyr Passes the Hammer to Jots
« Reply #86 on: January 28, 2023, 08:04:55 pm »
Thoraro turns to the hammers: Brodrs, would you all join me in the tavern?
Jots says: Aye, a beer sounds nice!
Hangatyr tilts his head at Nyshyn "Well thanks for the journey" and heads off towards the plaza
Thosor says: tavern? for awhile..
Eriz says: Yes, indeed. All that digging made me thirsty.
Thoraro says: Thank you brodrs for joining me. I have some good news and bad news.
Thoraro says: So would you all please have a beer in hand
Jots says: Guess I should get comfy for this one.
Thoraro says: I will start with the heart-breaking news
Eriz takes a mug of beer
Thosor says: Is this a private stonehammer meeting? I'll go upstairs.
Hangatyr says: Nah you can stay
Thoraro says: As you all know Keeper Hangatyr has been a great Keeper to us all.. like a father and the wit of a headstong leader
Thosor says: thanks
Jots says: Aye, he has.
Hangatyr looks at Thoraro, raising an eyebrow slightly
Jots chuckles slightly
Thoraro says: But sadly Keeper Hangatyr, our leader, has asked to take a step back as he has not been able to be with us as much as he wishes
Hangatyr nods
Thoraro says: Because of this, he feels it it better for him to hand the Hammer over to younger and fresher blood
Thoraro smiles at Hangatyr
Hangatyr is tempted to throw his mug towards Thoraro
Hangatyr says: Who is old?
Eriz suppresses a smile at the word "younger"
Thoraro says: So would you all raise your mugs to our beloved Keeper Hangatyr
Eriz says: To our Keeper!
Thosor thinks to himself, hopes he will at least stick around
Hangatyr grins and raises his mug "Well spoken .. erm ... young Thoraro, well spoken"
Thoraro says: Brodr Hangatyr, thank you for your guidance
Thoraro says: Brodr Hangatyr, would you like to say a few words?
Eriz says: We shall always cherish the wisdom of your teachings and ways, Keeper!
Hangatyr says: As Thoraro said, family business is more important for me at the currant state. So me decided to pass on the Hammer to someone who is loyal to the guild."
Hangatyr says: And somewhat younger than this old dwarf
Thoraro laughs: Aye, true
Hangatyr says: Mayhaps the younger generation infuses some fresh ideas into the old structures
Hangatyr says: So as of today, me will pass the Hammer's Guild to Jots. May he be as great as all of his successors.
Hangatyr says: Jots has been promoted to 'Keeper of the Hammer'
Eriz raises his mug to Jots: Hail, Keeper Jots!
Thoraro says: Congratulations Brodr Jots.
Thoraro says: Hail
Jots says: I am truly unworthy of this title, but I graciously accept and will continue the Hammer guild line for generations to come.
Hangatyr says: I hope so; if not, me will hunt you down and slap you silly with a limp and soggy pasta
Thoraro says: Keeper Jots, I hope I will be able to assist you in any matter you be needing.. I look forward to stand by you, brodr
Jots says: I may be inexperienced in the way of a leader, but I will try to exceed the expectations put upon me with this new title, as the forefathers before me. I thank you for offering me this opportunity and will certainly call upon your aid should I strike a wall that I myself cannot overcome.
Hangatyr raises his mug and cheers "Hail to the new Keeper of the Hammer"
Eriz says: And I shall abide to your orders too, Keeper, as I have done previously to Hangatyr.
Thoraro raises his mug to Jots "Hail Keeper Jots"
Eriz says: Hail, Keeper Jots!
Jots says: I thank you my brodrs for the faith you have put in me, may The Way of The Hammers live on!
Thoraro cheers! Hammers!!
Jots says: Hail to The Way Of The Hammers! Cheers!
Hangatyr says: By the way, the tap is on you, Jots
Jots says: Aye, I hear ye, I hear ye, drinks on me!
Eriz says: Yay, time to get drunk. Hammer time!
Thoraro says: Brodr Hangatyr, I hope you be coming back now and again
Thoraro says: I think we be needing to hold a party at the house..
Hangatyr says: Will try my best to do so, as rumors are going there will be new land and this should be a good opportunity to settle down.

I second Damola, this was a great story, I wish Jots great success in your new position, and hope to see you Hangatyr again. Migg is not much of a beer drinker, but I will be sure to drink a beer or two with you next time you come to visit. All the best!
