I had mine done about 10 years ago and never had a problem with it, it healed within 2 weeks of being pierced. I would like to add to these soloutions that it is wise to up your intake of vitamin C, I dont want to imply that you have scurvy but even lower than normal amounts can impede the healing process. So, drink orange juice alot for a while.

Ooh, vitamin C! Will drinking obscene amounts of orange juice as I already do really help if I get NO other vitamins from anywhere else?

I'm pretty sure mine healed in about 2 weeks too. It just unhealed and got itself infected >_> I swear, I could move it around!

I just read all the comments/remedies on ear piercing, I never want one done... sounds like too much pain and discomfort >.>

At one point in my younger years I had 28 piercings and only one of them had given me any discomfort and that was more in phycological than anything else. That and the couple weeks of inactivity sucked. After that everything was cake. Of course I did most of them myself so that helped alot. Funny as I got older I got rid of them all.

I don't get it.  Girls find me attractive when I seem grumpy or depressed.  They flock to it.  But when I act like I'm happy?  Nada!  Nothing!  Dry spell!  If they hit on me and I'm nice to them, they disappear.  But if I'm a jerk and ignore them, it makes them come after me even more!  I know it's an old story, but it isn't fair.

I shaved my head during the summer.  I'll probably do it again once spring kicks in.  Shoulder lengthed "rock star" hair was nice, but having a shaved head is really freeing.

I dont think i would ever shave my head, but thats probably because last time i did, i was really skinny and looked like a crazed Serial killer that never ate...
