Neko, did you bother to look at the title of the topic before you posted that reply?

Maybe it is actually OS specific. Hence Talad's (our lord and masters) naming of the thread.

Nope, I read the whole thread.

It may have been the annouce for the original windows client release, but it evolved into a broader discussion.  :)

I back the mod hear. "MacOSX and Linux version will be ready in few days." Where used in opening post, this is General Discussion, SO if a player wants to expand on the opening post, in this case Linux, they are free to do so.

 This is just my thoughts.

There's a thread in the linux forum which I update with links to the new client (I updated it this morning). The torrent isn't working yet though, I haven't got access to upload it to the tracker  ::)

Hehe, great, Linux installer is out. And since Windows = Worthless = Irrelevant = Not Notewhrothy = Nothing then this thread is OS independant. :P

The new area looks very nice.  Looks like they did another good job with the update.  Can't wait to get it downloaded and check out the new features!

Of course.  That's why the thread diverged anyways.

Well, since the Linux and Windows ones are out, and this thread is OS independent, when is mac going to come, other then soontm, or a more rough estimate then in a few days ? :)

When dfryer gets done compiling it. He had a client compiled just a few days back, so it shouldn't be that long. Just sit tight and be patient. :)

I did wonder about the updater (I have the Linux client but from what I can tell, this particular issue is OS-independent).  My execution of the updater also complains that the mirrors are either unreachable (404 Not Found errors) or don't have a version file, so any attempt to run the updater fails.  I have seen numerous people talk about this in this thread but only as a passing mention.  So, does anyone know whether waiting this out will work (i.e. for the current mirrors to carry the 0.3.018 updates), or is there a list of other mirrors we could use or some other workaround?

I have the latest client (0.3.018) and just need to update the artwork.  Thanks for any light that can be shed on this!   :)
