This game…you know what? Blank out the stats, the skills, extras, alchemy, magic, crafting, metallurgy etc, take it out and what’s left? The people, this game is damn addicting. I figured that what makes’s this game so good is us, the players, not the testers but us. It’s like computer magic in a sense, it’s the Community.
• Volund’s beginning*
Volund logs on. ‘November 13, 2006’
Volund walks to harnquist.
Volund sees a group of people standing around chatting.
Volund says “hey”
The group greets him and smile.
Volund asks where can he train and get a sword.
One kind fenki shows him the way to the arena and gives him a pair of swords.
Volund trains and after awhile meets a dermorian who shows him into the Elemental Light guild.
Volund learns about role-play and soon finding he is not leveling…but enjoying the game.
*all true*
This was my first time playing planeshift.
Let me educate those who don’t have an idea about other RPG’s
Runescape: Log on and they call you a mottled form of a bad word so they can get around the auto ***&%$$^^$ when a bad word is put into chat box.
WoW: power level
Everquest: power level
Planeshift: people greet you and talk to you. Role-play is fantastic. Leveling isn’t exactly a big deal and it’s no biggie if you don’t level.
You could take out PvP entirely, and it wouldn’t matter I wouldn’t quit, I play the game because the community is first, role-play is second and then whatever you think. This is my opinion and feel free to copy what I am saying and figure out what I mis-phrased. I love this game, I won’t quit, but Im not playing constantly, Im staying.
(this is really a fan for Ps thing but its true)
Love, your enemy, your friend, your lover.
