Historian?

I would say to begin as a reporter to write news about what is currently happening in Planeshift( In-character ), although probably it would be a "Sundry" column on marriages, etc. as nothing happens commonly like the violence, etc. that commonly plagues RW and some days the newspaper would only have one new: "Nothing happened".

Good idea, lordraleigh, but I would have to have alot of help to figure what was going on. Also, I was considering actually writing a post-this epoch "myth/history" (Thanks to Parallo) On what happened. Oh, and to Phinehas, I won't presume to argue with you, seeing as you "own" these forums, but contribute a work to Steuben's Story Challenge #3, and there i will presume to beat you.

Also, you're right, I am anything but perfect when it comes to writing and such, that's why  I like to get ideas and help.
(gee thanks Parallo. I bet I've been playing for longer than you. Just not posting on the forums.)

I ment you're not perfect for the job as you don't seem up to date with the settings. I wouldn't suggest a head to head with Phinehas in writing though. Bad idea. Go read some of his stuff.
I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(

Yeah, I've read some of his stuff, He is a good author. But when I take the time, I can write too. Often times I just post an idea I have with a little embellishment, and call it a story. Such as the Garris Shrike tales themselves. Thanks for the warning, though.

Funnily enough, I never claimed to be a great writer that I know of...

Oh, and if you've been around for two years then I apologize, but your account does list you as registered in February of this year... How is that? Did you only play in-game, or did you have to create a new forum account for some strange reason?

As for Steuben's challenge, that's a long wait to find out who the "better" writer is...

Well, I mainly played Ingame for the most part, and I really did not know of the forums till just a little ago, for some reason. Oh, and you are a good writer, Phinehas, I just read some of your stuff. It's a long wait, so g'head and post some new stuff.

Funny, I've never even seen you walk by. Just strange that we shouldn't meet once.

I have been playing for something like 2.5 years and i can say its easy not to meet someone now i meet people who have been playing longer than me for the first time.
And as for finding out who the better is i doubt thatwill make a difrence to other people because your still both great writers.
So far ive read some amzaing stories from you and some dry one.
Peronaly to me you two are the top writers here.

Well, I had my name changed by a GM halfway through, from Shanra Dragonbite, whom I really didn't use much, and then I used an Alt too, Norethen Stonedriver. (Used him in the story as well, partially.) So maybe that's why.

Huh. I never seen you, or even some main characters on the forums either, such as Coneitic, Peacer, (I know they both left a short while ago, but I talked to them ingame.), and more. Yliakum is a large place, and I spend my time in many of the remote corners, searching for hidden secrets or such. Also doing quests, and hanging out at the Bronze Doors. Maybe thats why.

Parallo, read the new section of my Garris Shrike stories, I think I did a much better job on it. I know there are questions to be asked, and criticisms to be had, but I think I spent some more thought on this one. My ikkle baby is coming to fruition! Phinehas, are you going to post a new story anytime soon? I enjoy reading your works, and it's nice to see you after your prolonged absence that my errant post ended.
Anyways, anyone that does not have the time to write, send your story ideas to me or another great writer, and I will try to make at least a short story out of em, if they are imaginative enough. (What made you decide to come back, Phin?)

P.S.
Don't look at my horrid attempts at drawing, they disgrace us all. :-[
