One note on the last of the 3d pics though, the roof seems to have quite a high level of specularity making it look very bright compared to the surrounding area - looks good though - your textures seem very "planeshifty" (have they added that word to the dictionary yet?)
.
Right on both acounts

The lighting is still to be looked at and most of the textures indeed come from Planeshift, the cobblestones, doors and straw roofs are textures of my own though.
however, I can't really see that deer in PS... I find it too real and modern ... maybe add a dinosaur touch to it?
None of the drawings are intended for Planeshift, The models are Planeshift related though, mainly because of the textures. However, I might create a dinosaury-ish deer, like the concept of it

I think it looks interesting, you could add something which keeps the water from reaching the door.
Why didn't I think of that?

Some sort of gutter right before the steps start might solve the problem of possible fluds and tremendously wet feet. Thankees!
*Edit*
Hurray! Practice in texture creation was a succes

I always had trouble with creating textures and still kinda have. The above picture contains only home made textures, apart from the wood which I stole from the internet. If you see something that doesn't look good to you, let me know please.
