You're absolutely right. They are one of the worth (sic) things which can go into a game.
See, you could have easily corrected that by a very simple thing, but you didn't. I wonder what thing that starts with "dic" you were using.
Action locations (such as the bench) can be pretty easily fixed, all you have to do is send us a list in the bugtracker and we'll get right on it. Ditto quests. It's one of my pet peeves too, so there's no need to get uppity about it. If you don't think it's worth your time to submit the bug, then you're basically accepting it. So bring on the bugs!
Why are you writing like it's my fault? It's not my game. I'm not a dev. I don't appreciate your tone.
Editing is a process not an act. Adhere to the means in place to correct these things.
The fact that mistakes are slipping through in such numbers means that the processes which are already in place should perhaps be reexamined.
I challenge every player to take the time to bug tracker every single error in grammar and spelling in the game.
Why would you do that? It's your game, not ours.
Do not tell me how "annoying" it is, take the proper action to have it fixed.
I hate to break it to you, but it
is annoying, and since the players are the end-users, that matters.
It is inherent in getting more material into the game that some things should slip.
Agreed.
The players act as the final copy editors because hundreds of sets of eyes are better than a few sets.
If we were all play testers, this would be true. However I've found that the devs keep going back and forth on whether or not we're players or playtesters. It seems that we're players without any rights, and we're playtesters who's opinions don't matter.
