Can you please post your system specs? Processor, RAM amount, and graphics card model.

Hello, I down-loadd planeshift very recently, so I jus assumed that I didn't need to update (also, when I went to the updater link, it showed me the page I first installed it at) I'm not sure if I downloaded the right thing or not... also, I got the demo to pop up, and after more installing, the demo just went away. I never did anything with it. Then, it went to the screen where you actually get to play the game. Again, I touched nothing. It got to 100%, then closed. I have a few accounts after making more because I thought I made mistakes, so I'm definately registered. Also, I can log in, obviously. BUT, I can't play the game. It just doesn't come up. I don't know where to go to get to it, either...  :'(  plz help me, I can't play.

You'll have to give us a few more details. Try to be exact, and if it helps, take screenshots for us.

First we'll need your computer specs: operating system, processor, RAM amount, and video card model. If you're on Windows, you can find this information by typing dxdiag into the Run command.

After you install the game, make sure you're running the actual client and not the installation all over again. The game will be installed by default (on Windows again) in C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue. You should find it in your Start menu, and you'll need to run the psclient.exe application.

Alright, I had to get the Bittorrent client before I could download anything, so I'm hoping that was what you're talking about. Still, my main concern is how the actual game is suppose to come up. Does it simply pop up when you log in? Or do you go to a link? If it IS supposed to pop up when you log in, I evedently did something wrong.

I'm on Windows, and I'm having trouble finding that C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue. that's supposed to be in the start menu.

I'll try to take those screenshots.

Thanks.  :)

Sounds like you haven't installed the game yet. Download the game if you haven't done so already, install the file, and then the PlaneShift Crystal Blue directory will be in Program Files.

The game is not browser-based, so you'll need to launch it like you launch regular applications. You'll see a window where you can type in your login information (registered email address and the password you chose), and then you'll be able to create a character. You'll need to launch the game whenever you want to play it.

SO sorry, I totally forgot, I can't exactly get back to the demo screen without installing everything again, which took me 4 hours, so I'd rather not unless I have to.
Also, I can't take a shot of the screen that loaded to 100%, then went away, seeing as that's what I want to get back to in the first place. (the screen where you start actually playing the game)

But other than that, the previous reply still stands... I'll try to take a screenshot of the page I started downloading at, maybe you can tell me if it's the right one or not...

Again, terribly sorry I hope I'm not annoying you too badly.

I really don't know what demo screen you are talking about.. :) Did you download the actual game file? It's over 200MB, so it should take you a while. It ends with .exe, and you need to run this file to install PlaneShift. After you install, the game will be in your Start menu.

If torrents are confusing you, download the game from a mirror instead.

Sorry sorry sorry sorry.

Thank you so much, I will try that.

I couldn't get the screenshot, but this link is where I downloaded the first time: http://www.planeshift.it/download.html

If it's not too much trouble, can you please tell me if that's where I'm suppose to be downloading from? And I tried a mirror before... all of them. Hehe. Only one worked, that was mirror 1.

Then use the one that worked :) Download the file, remember where it's saved to, and run it once the download finishes. You should be good to go after it installs.

Your email address is your account name, and you choose your password when you create your account. Keep in mind that forum account and game account are not the same things. Just in case you thought that was the case, you register for a game account here. You'll get a verification email with a link - copy&paste the link into your browser (don't click it - it often copies only a part of the link that way) and then you'll be able to create a password.

Thank you SO much AGAIN. Ure a life saver 4real, ure best help I've had.  :D

*edit*

Well, I'm extremely sorry to bother again, but the email thing is taken care of. My new problem is the password... it says my account has not been validated... but I had it re-send my validation messseveral times, and it won't let me make a password because it swears it's not validated. I can't keep making new accounts because I don't have any more email addresses, and I don't know how to delete my account on the THAT website. What do I do?  :'(
