there is option in setup to preload all models. If it is off, PS crash.

This was fixed in cvs, but after the release binaries were made unfortunately.

The bug is only in the windows client however. Linux (and mac when it's done) have the fix. Hopefully we'll upload a fixed windows client when the updater is updated :)

Having to do the tutorial with every new character (or old inexperienced character) is a little annoying. There should be a method of opting out although, perhaps, the first npc gives you the option. I explored the area and talked to the last person who "seems to have something important to say to you" which turned out to be 'you have to give me the items from the other npcs.' It is a very nice little map and I gave it short shrift. I think that might be a fairly common thing to happen.

The inverted top-left corner menu thingy is really annoying! And the cursor speed, too. Well, not much about the speed, I mean how it's all... drunk. It moves like a drunk person. Good analogy, huh.

Cursor speed is fine on my install, linux. Is this a windows problem? Somebody report it on the bugtracker if so, I can't find it on there  ;)

Speed seemed pretty comparable to the 0.3.019 client on my system (Debian Etch, Athlon64 3800+, 1GB RAM, GeForce 7600 GS).

I liked the new fog, but it seemed exceptionally bright for 11:00 PM.

Who cares about speed, if there is nothing to do, in game???  NPCs seem to be down, but that is not the point.  Something is either wrong or changed with mining.  I still have not gotten a straight answer...is it a bug, where the mines are all off?  or have the mines all changed location?

* forge don't works
* icons in inv are ugly
* hydlaa is unplayable
* but what is the worst for me, dueling is killed

My post from bug tracker:

There is new feature added that prevent monsters to be attacked from distance, and with this take them away from someone, great feature and I totally agree with it and support it. But here come dueling, and unfortunately this affect also the attacking of players, you have to be less than a meter away to be able to start the attack... this ruin dueling, I think dueling should not be start the attack and watch wath happen... if so there is not point in dueling... and I don't think is OOC, some player action, because if so, than make also metalurgy, mining and crafting such, that you just come on the mine, and watch your character mining for an hour until have a full load of gold... but I think we are all enough smart to understand, that a game is not watching a character doing something, but managing your character doing something... and honestly I don't see why dueling should be an exsception to this. On the other hand I see many problems in such dueling system... I would say that as long as weapons have speed, this can't work well, my favorite weapon is claymore, and it have speed 5, so it means that I get 3,3 hits of a dagger before I make 1 hit with my claymore. Well ok, if this will not be enough, I will give more reasons why not this system, but I think saying that watching a movie of medieval wars is more interesting than watching 2 3d characters combat without having any influence of them should be enough. Oh yes, and don't say that you can go again back when you start the attack, because this only give more advantage to daggers.

Heya,

I don't like the new dueling system. It is like a realistic fight but it's no fun.
It's to complicated, now i can't estimate the time to attack.
The Previous function was much more comfortable.

Hello,

I would like to add my disagreement with the new duel system as Akashani and Stylee said with more technical arguments.

Thanks for your attention,

Best regards! :)

Completely agree with you, my friends. Dueling is dead, if the current situtation remains untouched. While I can see why the range check was implemented, I must also say that the solution to it is inacceptable for the PvP aspect. A far better solution to prevent mobs from being lured away is to have a distance check wrapped around the NPC behavior. If someone tries to attack an NPC from 100 meters away, the NPC should simply not react.

However, I hope that dueling wasn't killed on purpose, and that something will be done to revive it, or else it can be buried and forgotten.

Just my $0.02.

                                                           A w a k e n!

At the moment, the only problem I have is not being able to log on. So...I'll probably tell you more problems soon.  ;)

Can you point us to the bug report then? I can't see anything about this mining problem.

Mm, I am sure it is mentioned somewhere in there, but searching doesn't show it to me either. Sorry, all those new reports and forum messages get confusing sometimes :) Please do add a bug about the missing mines there (as I AM sure I told others to do about this).
Edit: for clarity
