i can't do that, laanx

I've noticed a strange trend in laanx. As many have noticed, it crashes quite frequently. It almost seems to have a mind of its own.

Then, it hit me.

Laanx is the new HAL!!!!!!!!

we must act quick before it turns off our oxygen...er.., or wipe our accounts!!!   :'(

I submit for the rumor mill that it is an upgrade, not a wipe.

Laanx is probably researching different methods of climate control.

I recomend  all of you say goodbye to your oxygen. Give it a hug, buy it some flowers, maybe even take it out to dinner.

could Laanx be the child of Skynet and HAL?  :-X

I think i've got it all figured out.

I've researched thoroughly and i've come up with a fairly accurate geneology.

We should have figured this out earlier. I had asked Pingo and turns out its self aware, so its not so much of a stretch that the server is the next HAL. but I think Homik sums it up pretty good

Stand On Zanzibar > 2001 A Space Odyssey but then a singular work is usually better than a medley.

I think the Academy were all dosed when they considered 2001 for the Oscars. The visual effects were groundbreaking at the time though they seem pretty lame now.

hmmm....i almost forgot about Pingo.

I bet Pingo's in on it too! It's covering for Laanx, saying it's always down!  :@#\
