I voted storyline. It's what makes the game feel right and gives purpose to everything else. Without it, this is just a spreadsheet with good graphics. So far, for as much as everyone keeps telling me to "read the lore...

sorry, settings

", the game doesn't back up any of it. Supposedly, if I read the settings, we're in some big stalactite, living by the light of the crystal... but there's night and day (but no sun), the only underground a sewer (clue: if the only light is a crystal, and you didn't say anything about it cycling power, and everyones complaining about things being too dark, how about getting rid of night and day??!?!). There's talk of a government, nothing in game though. Over and over I read things that this PS doesn't even remotely feel like, like you're describing some other game. The whole thing feels like a cheap knock off of every other game out there, when it talks about being so different.
Sorry, I know this isn't a complaint thread, but story is very critical to me. I just want to explain why my vote is storyline and why PS continues to lose it's appeal. Maybe it'll pick up in the higher end, I don't know if I'll care by the time I get there. After storyline though, I like to craft and work killing bigger and better things. I would like a crafting system equal to mob drops in quality of gear created.
EDIT: Sorry, upon further study, it appears the crystal is affected by some other surface out there that is governed by night and day. In the end though, despite a new and original idea, it ends up being just like every other game in existence.
