I am tempted to make an alt just to join your guild for some good RP, but at the moment I need more training on Akaiddo.

typically people don't want alts in their guild.
it leads to spying and masses of inactive members, both of which aren't cool.
but who knows, I'm sure some guilds don't mind

Yes I know that, but looking at this guild it is 1) not likely to enter a guild war, and 2) if I stop using an alt, I usually delete it.

I don't really want alts in the guild unless you get on them everyday, and not once every eclipse.
