After being carried to the sanatorium by Rigwyn Samcat slept late into the day, dreams of better times kept the pain away, at least for a while. Upon awakening the pain reminded itself however, he prayed to Xiosia to save him from his state of agony. Through a routine visit by doctor Forita it would seem that his prayers where answered.(19:45:02) Samcat grabs a handful of the beds covering in sheer agony 'My leg.. Oh Xiosia my leg..' he rambles repeatedly
(19:45:05) >Lesiros Forita greets Samcat Silka.
(19:45:32) Lesiros says: So much pain? ... Oh, yes ... this leg doesn't look well.
(19:45:50) Lesiros says: Doctor Forita at your service...
(19:46:11) Lesiros says: This has to be straightened before healing.
(19:46:15) Samcat looks up at Lesiros with a pleading grimace 'Xiosia help me..' he repeats.
(19:46:27) Lesiros says: Yes, yes, we will hurry...
(19:46:46) Lesiros says: Here, Sir, take a little sniff and tell me how that smells to you.
(19:46:50) Elady says: Greeting Dr Lesiros can I be of help some how?
(19:47:15) >Lesiros Forita salutes Elady Wanz with respect.
(19:47:28) Lesiros says: Greetings, mylady - indeed - a broken leg, it seems.
(19:47:47) Samcat looks a bit hesitant, twisting over in the bed as he grits his teeth.
(19:48:10) Lesiros says: Just inhale a little bit.
(19:48:15) Elady frowns " A nasty injury."
(19:48:46) Samcat leans forward and inhales, he coughs wildly at the smell as he lays back in the bed.
(19:49:06) Lesiros quickly takes the bottle before the content runs out, and corks it.
(19:49:23) Lesiros says: He should now be absent for a little while.
(19:49:26) Lesiros says: Let's hurry, my lady.
(19:49:37) Elady nods " A blessing for him."
(19:49:38) Lesiros says: The leg has to be straightened.
(19:49:53) Elady says: Just tell me what you want me to do to help.
(19:49:56) Samcat tilts his head towards Elady before his eyes slowly roll back into his skull.
(19:50:28) Lesiros says: You will pull it carefully while I will get it splinted and bandaged.
(19:50:54) Samcat lets go of the beds covers as he seems to have fallen unconscious due to the sedative.
(19:51:12) Elady gives a serious nod to Dr Lesiros. then moves to straighten the leg and hold it in position.
(19:51:14) Lesiros takes a few wooden sticks and a cloth out of his backpack.
(19:51:39) Elady gently pulls the leg straight.
(19:52:04) Lesiros says: Yes - watch the toes - a little to the outside, and upwards.
(19:52:16) Samcat twitches violently as his leg is pulled straight 'Xiosia!' he exclaims with a shout.
(19:52:28) Lesiros pulls the cloth under the leg and puts two sticks next to the leg.
(19:52:50) Lesiros says: Ah, I should have made a fresh potion, it is already a few days old...
(19:53:18) Lesiros adds a third stick on top of the leg and starts wrapping it.
(19:53:21) Samcat seems to slumber due to the sedative.
(19:53:39) Elady moves the leg as directed by the doctor.
(19:54:00) Lesiros says: Stop - perfect. Now I'll wrap it tightly.
(19:54:22) Elady holds the leg in the position .
(19:54:46) Lesiros finishes wrapping and slices the cloth to make a knot.
(19:55:23) Lesiros says: So, that should keep it straight...
(19:55:40) Lesiros says: Now let's concentrate on his bone and start the healing. Will you help me?
(19:55:57) Elady nods " Yes that should do nicely as long as he is careful moving about."
(19:56:16) Elady nods " Of course anything I can do to help."
(19:56:23) Lesiros says: Now that the bone is straight, let's start with Life Infusions.
(19:57:00) Lesiros says: Fine, fine...
(19:57:37) Lesiros says: When he wakes up, he should be able to feel if everything went well.
(19:58:06) Lesiros says: And ... I guess he will thank Xiosia.
(19:58:13) Lesiros smiles at Elady
(19:58:42) Elady smiles at Dr Lesiros " And he should thank your skills also Doctor."
(19:59:12) Lesiros says: No issue...
(19:59:37) Lesiros says: He is just lucky that no one tried to heal the leg without splinting it first.
(20:00:46) Samcat slowly opens his eyes and looks up at Elady 'w-what happened?' he stutters
(20:01:29) Lesiros says: Slowly, Sir ... you are still dizzy, I guess.
(20:01:33) Samcat still seems a little slow due to the sedative as he slowly lets his gaze wander the tent.
(20:01:56) Elady says: The Doctor splinted your leg and then we used magic to help start the healing of your broken bone.
(20:02:33) Lesiros says: Wait a few more hours before trying to walk.
(20:02:40) Samcat puts his hand to his heart as he peacefully closes his eyes 'Xiosia bless you Tabei' he says softly
(20:03:38) >Lesiros Forita salutes Samcat Silka with respect.
(20:03:41) Elady says: You are most welcome sir.
(20:03:56) Lesiros says: You'r welcome... - How did that happen?
(20:04:01) Samcat tries to sit up instinctively slouching forward as he does.
(20:04:17) Lesiros says: Careful.
(20:05:24) Samcat growls slightly at the question as he suddenly hides his face in his paws 'I...i don't.. it's a long story' he murmurs hoping they wont question him further.
(20:06:14) Lesiros says: Ah, well ... I guess you learned to avoid the same situation next time...
(20:06:21) Lesiros smiles at Samcat
(20:06:59) Samcat burst into tears, crying his into his paws due to the memory 'Yes..Thank you tabei'

(20:08:50) Samcat leans back into the bed again, tears flowing freely down his furry cheeks.
(20:09:51) Elady says: Just be careful on that leg for a while. It will need some additional time to fully heal.
(20:10:32) Samcat nods as he suddenly exclaims 'So much evil in this city.. So much evil'
(20:11:48) Elady says: How did you get injured if I may ask?
(20:13:35) Samcat looks around the tent as he looks up at Elady 'What's your name tabei? he answers her question with a insecure 'I.. I not sure if it would be good for me to say'
(20:14:18) Elady raises her hand to her chest. " My name is Elady, a member of the Daughters of Xiosia."
(20:15:24) Samcat smiles weakly in his misery 'I'm Sam.. Sam Silka, and i serve the godly mother too'
(20:17:14) Samcat seems somewhat more willing to tell Elady about what happened as she mentions Xiosia 'Thank you again Tabei, I will remember this kind generosity'
Samcat tells of what he saw, the content of his story somewhat altered due to the sedative given to him by the doctor. After a brief conversation Samcat is recommended by Elady to rest. He drifts of into a peaceful sleep as soon as his head hits the pillow and sleeps late into the next day. He remains in the bed upon awakening, wondering when he will be able to walk again.(23:25:40) Samcat seems to be sleeping peacefully
(23:25:54) Mogweh walks into the tent and glances around, he looks a little puzzled for a moment then his eyes finally alight on the Menki lying in a bed in front of him.
(23:26:44) Mogweh says to Mellas,'I wonder where the cold hearted swine is Mel. Still alive I hope'
(23:26:45) Mellas tiptoes a bit closer to the sleeping menki, checking out whether his leg is healing well. She nods quietly to Mogweh before whispering: 'He's asleep.'
(23:27:14) Samcat slowly opens one of his eyes due to the noise, his leg seems to be heavily bandaged and supported by a wood structure, he gives the two a surprised look 'Tabei?'
(23:28:06) Mellas's eyes widen at Mogweh's choice of words. She makes a shushing gesture with her hands, then jumps back when Samcat seems to have woken. 'Amai! I'm sorry if I woke you,' she stutters.
(23:28:12) Mogweh looks at the leg and draws in a breath,'nasty.' he says before looking up at Samcat and smiling,'Oh Grrensolo tabei'
(23:29:17) Mogweh glances at Mel and mouths,'Sorry'
(23:30:27) Samcat makes a said grimace as Mogweh comments about his leg 'Grrensolo tabei, what can i do for you?' he says softly
(23:30:42) Mellas glances back at Mogweh and shakes her head. 'It's okay,' before she turns to Samcat. 'Greetings sir, my name is Mellas, Mellas Fenixxes. How are you feeling?'
(23:31:33) Mogweh clears his throat a little before speaking softly 'I'm Mogweh Parduu. We were looking for the Mage Alirukell, is he here?'
(23:31:56) Samcat seems somewhat sleepy, ignoring Mogwehs question.
(23:33:02) Mogweh chuckles to Mellas,'I think we better let this Menki get his rest, he looks done in'
(23:33:04) Samcat groans at the question about his leg 'By Xiosia.. i am in agony' he gestures towards his leg in a sweeping motion 'I've witnessed the most horrific things.' he says in a low tone of voice.
(23:34:10) Mogweh's eyes widen as Samcat moans, clearly in physical pain and suffering mental anguish. He says to Mellas,'anything you can do you help him Mel?'
(23:35:25) Mellas steps forward again, placing a light hand on the bandaged leg. 'I can try to soothe,' she whispers, before beginning to create a connection with the light energy of the crystal, channeling its healing powers towards the menki's leg. The spells flow easily from her lips, having gotten used to casting them daily.
(23:35:48) Samcat hides his face in his paws, silently crying due to the things he saw 'Xiosia save that poor man' he murmurs
(23:36:33) Mogweh looks over and says gently,'easy there, first things first, let Mell do her stuff.' and he gives the Menki a wink
(23:37:11) Samcat smiles weakly at Mogweh, shooting him a hesitant nod.
(23:38:32) Mogweh watches Mellas intently trying to learn from her as she performs a magic way beyond his own
(23:38:34) Mellas's blonde hair falls over her shoulders when she leans forward to study the wound. 'Does that feel a bit better?' she asks hopefully.
(23:40:41) Samcat nods weakly at Mellas, yet he seems ravished by sadness 'Thank you most kindly tabei..' he whispers
(23:42:03) Samcat suddenly grabs a handful of the beds covering ripping it to shreds is a sudden outbreak of frustration 'Xiosia give me strength' he exclaims loudly
(23:42:33) Mogweh grins,'You're feeling better now though eh? What happened to you, if you don't mind me asking?'
(23:43:01) Mellas raises her hands protectively as she steps back, the crystal connection broken. 'W-what happened to you, sir?' she asks hesitantly. 'What did you see?'
(23:43:55) Mogweh looks samcat up and down a little while he waits for a response but has little to work with.
(23:45:59) Samcat looks up at the two with sad sultry eyes 'There was this man.. They beat him so dreadfully.. I followed them until they went down into the sewers.. I was too scared to follow them alone' he rambles with visible pain in his eyes, his story nt making much sense.
(23:46:59) Mogweh replies glancing at Mellas cautiously,'What man, who dragged him'
(23:47:37) Mellas swallows, a dreaded feeling growing inside of her. 'Yes,' she says quietly, 'who was it? And why?'
(23:48:34) Mogweh moves closer to Mellas reading her thoughts and feeling the same feeling of dread.
(23:49:40) Samcat turns to his side, sobbing quietly not saying a word. Obviously traumatized by the incident.
(23:51:59) Samcat wipes his tears only to have his cheeks soaked yet again 'I couldn't help him.. Oh Xiosia save him' he sobs quietly
(23:52:17) Mogweh waits silently. He gives Mellas a look and then shrugs.
(23:53:13) Mogweh shuffles his feet and finally says,'erm look tabai, why don't you start at the beginning, I find that helps, and tell us what happened..'
(23:53:40) Mellas glances at Mogweh, a certain feeling of helplessness going through her. Yet, she moves forward to soothe the upset menki. 'It's okay, what happened wasn't your fault,' she says softly. 'Here..' She takes a water pouch from her backpack and offers it to Samcat. 'It helps to drink some cool water.'
(23:55:39) Samcat drinks from the pouch greedily as he smiles weakly at Mellas in appreciation 'Thank you yet again Tabei.. I will tell you what happened, i need to find out.. It haunts me day and night. My prayers have gone unanswered'
(23:56:40) Mogweh pulls out a small flask and raises it,'I find Red Liquor also helps, more so these days actually' his eyes cloud over a little as he utters the last words, then returning to Samcat he says,'Cheers''
(23:57:20) Mogweh sips the flask and offers it round with a smile.
(23:57:59) Samcat grabs the flask almost ripping i out of Mogwehs hands as he drinks eagerly.
(23:58:17) Mellas flashes Mogweh a thankful smile but refuses the flask. 'Nay, I'd prefer to keep a clear head, if you don't mind.'
(23:58:44) Mellas looks over at Samcat. 'Besides, looks like he could use it more.'
(23:59:08) Mogweh chuckles and says,'Well there's plenty more where that came from, drink up' and looks in hes backpack
(00:00:10) Mogweh pulls out a largish parcel wrapped in cloth.
(00:00:43) Samcat begins to speak in a stuttering manner as he takes another big sip from the flask 'There was two men.. One of them was ylian, a heavy set man with a grizzled appearance. The other was dressed in a white cloak with a strange figurine hanging around his neck.. The man they where beating was a ynnwn..' he stops to take another sip of the flask.
(00:02:12) Mellas switches back to a more uneasy mood, keeping her hands clasped together as she listens to Samcat's story. Her face pales at the mention of an ynnwn being beaten by a man in a white cloak. 'Was this ynnwn carrying many tattoos over his body?' she asks softly, hesitantly.
(00:04:19) Samcat seems to struggle to remember 'He had strange tattoos on his face.. Very tall. He did not utter a plea for mercy even under the brutal beating' he seems to be concentrating in a brief prayer as he stops 'Xiosia bless..' he whispers
(00:04:35) Mogweh begins unwrapping the cloth speaking as he does,'The man in white, was he a diaboli with dreadlocks'. Seeing Mellas' agitation he puts out a paw to her shoulder to comfort her.
(00:06:11) Samcat hides his face in his paws again, shaking his head.
(00:07:05) Mogweh continues,'I heard about a diaboli with dreadlocks posing as a priest or some nonscence - calling himself the "nameless one". He attacked poor Garosan, a friend of a Elady's'
(00:09:46) Mellas's fash turns unusually white, and she stumbles backwards unto the bed parallel to Samcat. 'No..' she whispers, her hazel eyes wide. 'No..' She lifts her knees up to her chest and lowers her head until her hair hides her expression from sight. 'Tell me that's not true.. what did they do to him?' Her voice appears broken, the dreadful feeling in her stomach becoming confirmed.
(00:09:53) >Mellas Fenixxes takes a seat by Medium Bed.
(00:13:16) Mogweh takes the bottle out of the clost wrapping and takes out the cork. The look on Samcats face confirming their fears he takes a long pull on the contents of the bottle. Smacking his lips and saying 'ahh uncle Braduusc's old particular, can't beat it' Then seeing Mellas recoil he put the bottle down on the table and walks over to comfort her saying,'Hey, come on now, he's a tough one..we'll get him out, if it's him, don't you worry'
(00:15:24) Samcat seems even more traumatized due to the depressing tension in the tent 'They where beating him.. With hammers' he stutters 'They dragged his lifeless body away.. Into the darkness'
(00:16:28) Mogweh looks over from Mellas and says,'Our..'friend' had very visible tattoos.'
(00:17:08) Mellas keeps her head down, closing her eyes tightly to keep the tears from falling. 'H-he said, to forget h-him, if he would never...' Sobs begin to wrack her body when Samcat continues. 'No...no.... tell me you're lying, this is all a nightmare!'
(00:17:53) Samcat reacts to Mogwehs emphasis on the word 'friend' he looks up to the menki with deplorable eyes 'He.. He was your friend?'
(00:18:14) Shangshi taps on one of the tent uprights as he enters "I'm not disturbing anything am I?"
(00:18:18) Mogweh sits down and put his arm round Mellas and looks over at Samcat,'nodding simply'
(00:18:42) Shangshi looks to all three present, smiling to each in turn.
(00:18:49) >Mogweh Parduu takes a seat.
(00:19:27) Mogweh looks over at Shangshi, the theater of the tent being disturbed.
(00:20:13) Samcat breaks into tears yet again as he watches Mellas 'It's true.. I saw it with my own eyes..' he sobs loudly 'Oh Xiosia it's true!'
(00:21:17) Mellas gives in and starts crying freely as she leans against Mogweh, all the exhaustion the latest events coming to together. 'Nay, it's not true... please... don't let it be true..' she whispers, muffled.
(00:21:18) Mogweh says to Shangshi attempting badly to cover up the obvious drama in the tent,'Shangshi, good to see you, what are you doing here? Did you find your yer friend?'
(00:21:53) Shangshi steps to the end of the bed Mellas isn't on, and then looking round questioningly "Is this a recount of what ended with samcat here?" and then looks to Samcat "Has your leg been seen too yet?"
(00:22:48) Mogweh nods and begins to reach across to the bottle on the table but then stops thinking better of it.
(00:23:08) Samcat looks up at Shangshi with widen tear filled eyes. 'y-yes.. doctor Forita and Elady helped me.. The fixed it' he stutters as he makes a sweeping gesture towards his heavily bandaged leg.
(00:23:34) Shangshi looks between Mellas and Mogweh scratching his neck "Well, to be honest i have looked for him at all. Thought it would be better he found me if he really wanted to."
(00:24:10) Shangshi smiles down at Samcat "Good, i'm glad to hear it."
(00:24:49) Mogweh thumbs Mellas,'and Mellas of course' giving the distraught Nolthrir a tiny squeeze'
(00:25:33) Samcat turns to Mellas with sorrow filled eyes 'I am so sorry.. d-did you know him?' he asks quietly
(00:25:48) Mellas shivers when she hears Shangshi's voice, trying to pull herself together as she looks up at the elf. 'You!' she exclaims. 'I was looking for you, but you were n-nowhere to be found!'
(00:26:58) Deedro crawls in and climbs by Mellas "Mellwee!"
(00:27:07) Mogweh looks over at Deedro and motions him to Mellas' side
(00:27:21) >Deedro Eref takes a seat.
(00:28:07) Samcat closes his eyes, trying to escape the chaos in the tent.
A speculation as well as a long discussion follows, Samcat attempts to remember every detail of the horrid event as the others fill him in about the man who was taken, all of the people present seeming to have met him.(00:45:16) Samcat moves over a little, slouching forward on the bed 'He was red skinned.. Tall. He has strange tattoos on his face.. Do you recognize him? he asks weakly
(00:45:52) Mogweh says,'Jacula!'
(00:47:06) Samcat does not seem to recognize the name 'Jacula?'.. i just pray that he is alright' he says with a sad expression
(00:49:07) Shangshi frowns "Jacula?" and looks to Mellas "Im sorry to hear that."
(00:49:38) Mellas places her hands over her face, trying to hide the tears. 'W-we are engaged,' she manages to say through her sobs. 'I haven't seen him for so l-long.. I tried to find him... I..'
(00:51:35) Samcat is on the brink of tears yet again as Mellas sorrow affects him 'Who on Yliakum would do this to him and why?'
(00:51:56) Mogweh looks over at samcat and asks,'So you saw the abduction, did you try and warn him or do anything? Is that how you hurt your leg?'
(00:54:59) Shangshi looks between Mogweh and Samcat saying nothing to answer him.
(00:55:04) Mellas hugs her legs close to her chest again, ignoring those around her when her thoughts begin to clear. Her expression is still one of intense sadness, but a signal of hope begins to bloom in her eyes. 'He-he wasn't killed, w-was he? Where did they take him?'
(00:55:55) Samcat looks over at Mogweh as he whimpers 'i followed them to the sewer entrance' he carefully places a hand on his leg 'I saw a man with a white cloak.. I got scared, he followed me into the sewer i tried to hit him with my club... I fell' he carefully removes a tear with one of his claws 'I don't know.. I was to scared to follow' he whimpers
(00:56:51) Joale glances into the Sanatorium and walks off
(00:57:09) Samcat seems confused, mixing up his own story due to the painful memory
(00:58:43) Mogweh nods and his voice takes on a cold impatient aire at samcats vagueness,'and the man in the white cloak, I've heard of someone like this described before as I said earlier. Was he a diaboli and did he have dreadlocks?'
(00:59:01) Shangshi run his finger along the pole in front of him and mutters 'hit Caira instead.' and then looks up at Mogweh.
(01:00:24) >Mellas Fenixxes stands up.
(01:00:28) Mellas suddenly pushes her way up and off the bed. Without saying a word she walks off, hands clenched into fists.
(01:01:28) Shangshi watches Mellas "Should someone follow her?"
(01:01:34) Shangshi says: Make sure shes ok?
(01:02:06) Mogweh gets up and says,'I'll go. and runs after her
(01:02:09) >Mogweh Parduu stands up.
(01:02:12) Samcat nods at Mogweh 'he had dreadlocks.. Diaboli.. i need to rest' he says with a low tone of voice
(01:02:38) Shangshi takes a seat opposite Samcat.
(01:03:08) Samcat closes his eyes as he lays back, exhuasted by all the questions
(01:05:31) Samcat prays silently to himself 'By root and stem thy will be done.. Bless me joyfull mother for i am threading on the branches of pain'
(01:06:11) Shangshi looks about the tent "The questions might be a bit much, but people care about Jacula...." and trails off as Samcat prays
(01:07:34) Samcat watches Shangshi idly from the corner of his eye 'He must be a great man' he whispers
(01:10:34) Shangshi says: I cant say I know him very well, I know his fiancee better, she loves him.
(01:11:36) Samcat looks into the fabric ceiling 'Must be horrible.. to lose ones love like that, I pray i never share the same fate Tabei'
(01:12:35) Samcat turns to Shangshi again 'I must find this Jacula when i am strong enough.. I wan't to help him' he whispers
(01:13:28) Shangshi nods "There are many that will be willing to help him. You should make sure you leg heals heals."
(01:14:54) Samcat turns his face into the pillow as he murmurs 'He must be a good man.. For peole to care so much, there is goodness in this rotten city afterall'
(01:17:28) Samcat sowly drifts off in a soothing sleep.
(01:18:21) Shangshi stands up seeing Samcat begins sleeping and silently leaves the tent.
