[ I had to laugh when I learned that Mogweh had already been working on *corrupting* Mellas - and again when I found out why  .  Keep up the good work Jac - especially the short stories and photos. These add a lot of nice color and depth to the story. ]

"Mogweh's Revenge"

Mellas, it had always been about Mellas... He'd watch her destroy lives for her selfish pursuit of Jacula, a man who everyone but she could see was evil. She had begun the path already, the little quests for the minions of the Black Flame that lived in the sewer, and for a long time Mogweh had been working on Mellas, listening to her, inhabiting the thoughts and feelings that she had confided in him.

Finally, they meet behind the Laanx temple, for the final step of her acceptance of pure evil: The Black Flame.

Mellas checks the new area and nods, satisfied. 'Mogweh,' she says, looking directly at the menki. 'You... got access, didn't you?' she asks.

Mogweh replies,'No, not yet, I was waiting for you', he lied.

Mellas tilts her head. 'You have to say the last words as well?'

Mogweh looks away, 'You falter and seem hesitant, I thought we were going to do this together. For Jacula and for you to...', he trails off.

Mellas looks down, Mogweh's words hitting her like some kind of accusation.

Mellas takes a seat in the lush grass, indicating for Mogweh to do the same. 'Kellic just spoke to me... he had an encounter with those... who live down in the sewers.'

Mogweh listens intently, what he says to her now would be crucial.

Mellas continues, 'He said he had a friend once, who was taken by these people. The next time he met him... he had slaughtered most of his family,' she says with a shiver before lowering her voice. 'Do we even know what this whisper will do once we accept? Can we withstand it? I've done evil, I know...' She sighs. 'But I don't want to keep on doing this.I don't want to become evil!

Mogweh replies, 'You? You will never become *evil* - not the evil you talk of. You are too powerful in mind for that!' he spits. 'Together we can enter the temple and infiltrate them. We can free Jacula and bring the Black Flame to their knees. Oh sure we will have to sacrifice some innocents on the way, but think of what we will achieve, by saving the city of Hydlaa. Search your heart, you know you want to go there..to Jacula...to...your destiny' he says speaking in slow gentle words at the end.

Mogweh continues callously inflaming Mellas, 'every day we waste, he suffers so. I hate the thought of that, you must. How do you live with it? You are *so* strong.' Smiling again to himself, waiting for a reaction.

Mellas winces, a painful expression sliding over her face. She places a hand over her heart as it aches at Mogweh's mention of Jacula's suffering. ' No,' she murmers quietly, 'I'm not strong. The dagger sticking from my back is one of the many proofs you've had.' She closes her eyes and hangs her head in shame. 'I just -' she breaks off, searching for words to explain what she's feeling, but fails miserably.

Mogweh listens carefully taking a moment to answer before he says, 'No you are not *physically* strong enough yet, but once inside and their trust is won, you can learn the arts to destroy. Then you can do whatever you want. Jacula will no longer be subjected to daily suffering, you will have the love of your life...' then he chuckles, ' and I can take up a more peaceful role, maybe I'll open a tavern in the forest to the North. You and Jacula can come and visit, we will drink together and laugh and be happy' he lies. Laughing to himself at the ridiculous notion.

Mellas gives Mogweh a look, the rest of his words fading away after he mentioned the arts to destroy. 'No! Don't you understand!?' she exclaims desperately. 'I don't want to learn these arts, I don't want to destroy things!' She gets up, clenching her hands into fists. 'I just want... I just wish we could be together..' she calms down once again, standing with her back to Mogweh. 'Why do others have to take him away? I don't understand... why can't they just leave us be, together.'

Mellas's voice softens. 'Maybe I should stand guard by the mechanism and just ask the next time someone exits... you know. Ask them if they could please let Jacula go..'

Mogweh replies, 'We have to be smart. We have to infiltrate them, by learning their ways we can tell others. Give others the chance we have now. This cannot be passed up Mellas.', he insists. Taking a breath he looks to the ground with a sad look on his face, 'Please sit down. There is something else, something I should have mentioned before but did not for fear of upsetting you. You should hear it now I think.'  He sensed her resolve caving in, and prepared to deliver the final blow.

Mellas turns, meekly taking a seat by Mogweh. 'What could be worse?' she asks, not expecting a reply.

Mogweh looks into Mellas' eyes and attempts to speak. Failing for a minute he finally delivers the following in a sad voice filled with sorrow,'I'm sorry...I..I spoke with Elady some nights ago. She has worked out a way to keep Jacula out of the way permanently. She is making moves to have him captured, I believe, and then..and then..' he sighs deeply and his eyes fill with tears as he sees the sorrow in the fair faced Nolthrir and in a broken voice he continues,'She means to have his limbs severed from his body and his tongue cut from his mouth. Then she will heal his wounds and plunge a stake through his heart then send to the Death Realm permanently like this.....I won't let her obviously, but I can't do it alone, we have to save him ...the method I suggest is the only way.'

Mogweh implores,'Please, we must begin immediately, there is so much to do to prevent all this...I need you. Jacula needs you...'

Mellas's body involuntary jolts up, her eyes widened in pure shock and horror. She breathes heavily, trying to speak, but the words won't come out. The blood leaves her face as she stares at Mogweh, trying to process what he just said.

The two make their way to Relliom for the final test of Mellas' acceptance in the Black Flame and of it's pure evil.

Mellas looks up at Mogweh, her eyes telling him she'll never be ready for this, so she might as well... 'Ready?'

Mogweh nods,'Seize your destiny Mellas..'

Mellas turns to Relliom, doing her best to keep her voice steady as she speaks.

Mogweh slowly retreats into the shadows.. His revenge was complete. He enters the temple and greets the Black Flame's latest member.

[At this point Mogweh wasn't sure if Jacula was to return to the Black Flame, but he was happy that he had covered his bases, as always. He had won, if Jacula hated him for her being turned, he had won. If Jacula thanked him, he had won, and secured a place at the side of the most powerful and most terrifying of the Black Flame. And for a player of the "Great Game" that was exactly where he wanted to be.]

[This event belongs to Jacula Pundactum and not the Mogweh Parduu. However, it should be mentioned by way of explaining his character, that Mogweh is delusional. Everything above this text is formed from his perspective. He strongly believes that what he did was as it should have been. In his eyes he did not trick Mellas, he just employed skilful means to get her to where he thought she was destined to be. And get a little revenge in the bargain of course.  ]

"Truth be told"
Time had come for the infamous couple to be reunited, would Mellas embrace the truth which she was to witness first hand? would those of light lose their paragon?
[In the following logs Jacula actually encounters the whisper. My thanks to whatever GM taking the time for this  ]

Jacula sat in the temple, studying the tomes of old. Knowledge always bested brute force, his recent endeavors had shed light and brought out the sheer genius of Serana's teachings. He knew his goal and how to obtain what he craved. the whisper had soothed his guilt, for he had felt no sympathy for the torment he had brought upon the misguided.
The whisper hissed in his ear, had he been watched throughout his endeavors?

Whispers fill the air like a foul stench
Jacula listens to the whisper intently
Jacula tries to make out where the whisper is coming from
Jacula perks up his ears. Shaking his head as the whisper fades
A fainth whisper: They are on their way.. Soon they will be here..
Jacula bows his head 'Master.. Tell me your bidding, it shall be done'
Jacula approaches the altar, kneeling before it.
Jacula Pundactum takes a seat.
A fainth whisper: My bidding resides in your dark heart
Jacula bows his head bowed, supporting himself against the base of the altar 'I am about to tell her the truth, and our hearts will be one. Forever'
Jacula fidgets the metallic bracelet on his wrist 'Mellas.. Soon my love..'
Jacula contemplates for a minute before getting to his feet again, knowing what awaits.
Jacula Pundactum stands up.
A fainth whisper: Roar and fire will bring great gifts. One poison, one arrow.
Jacula stops in his tracks and turns back to the altar 'Talk to me master, tell me your every wish. For my heart alone is not big enough for thine bidding'
A fainth whisper: Love is the strongest of all weapons, love is the greatest of all lies.
Jacula smiles as he looks down at his bracelet 'Our love will be an embodiment of your greatness master' he says as his thoughts trails of to Mellas.
A faint whisper: Use the power of love to gain what is not easily given
A fainth whisper: Now go do what you must!
Jacula snaps to attention at the whispers command 'So i shall master, events that will rattle the misguided awaits'
Jacula bows his head to the altar again as he slowly backs up, making his way through the dark tunnels.
Jacula whispers to himself, putting his hand over his heart 'Soon my love.. Soon we will be together'

Shangshi entered the temple shortly after, had the whisper brought him there? Jacula imparted him of the whispers command and after a breif conversation Shangshi made his way to find Mellas. Time had come for her to know the truth. The message was brought forth and so it was that Mellas entered the temple. Was she to leave the light behind and embrace the darkness?

Mellas quietly enters the eerie temple. When there seems to be no sign of anyone around, she makes her way down the tunnel slowly, her ears within the hood pointed up sharply to listen to any sound around her.
A stranger watches her in the shadows, his features hidden in the darkness of his hooded robe.
Mellas stops when she spots a chair before the altar, glancing back uncertainly for a moment. Still not seeing anyone around, she steps forward to take a closer look.
Mellas finds another note with her name on it and swallows when she reads it through. Looking around the room again for any sign of life, she gingerly sits down on the chair, ready to jump at any time.
The stranger takes a deep breath as he lurks closer, his hands trembling due to the intensity of the moment.
Mellas twitches uncertainly, Kellic's threats still ringing in ears.
The stranger walks up behind Mellas, light on his feet. 'Where you followed?' he exclaims through the muffle covering his mouth.
Mellas , having felt someone coming closer, shakes her head, keeping the white robes tightly around her. 'Nay.'
The stranger slowly walks up to the altar, his eyes glistening in the darkness of his hood. He reaches out as if to grab it 'I am offering you to hear the truth. To be more than a misguided pawn in the game of life. What say you?'
He trails his fingers over the cold metal before turning to Mellas completely.
Mellas wrinkles her nose at the smell of death and rot as the cloaked person walks around. 'Who are you?' she asks instead, her gaze darkening.
Mellas plays with the dagger hidden between her white robes. 'What truth do you offer?'

"A stranger watches her in the shadows, his features hidden in the darkness of his hooded robe."
The stranger does not seem to react at her question, he takes another step towards her. The smell of rot slowly filling the room 'First, you show your face' he says firmly
Mellas seems to hesitate, thinking her options through. The blood-cloaked man knew, Aevaira and Rigwyn knew, what would it matter if one more would know? She stands up from her seat, searching for the others eyes within the hood as she drops the white robes surrounding her. 'You already know who I am, as I responded to the note,' she says, standing proudly before the other, her identity revealed.
Mellas Fenixxes stands up.
Mellas's hands now rest calmly on the hilts of her sabres instead. 'What is the truth you can give?' she asks, looking up at the tall figure.

The stranger takes a deep breath as he looks upon Mellas face for the first time in weeks. He takes another step towards her, the glisten in his eyes growing brighter. He leans towards her, as if offering her to reveal his identity. 'The truth is right before you..'
The stranger slowly places his hands over hers, covering the hilts of her sabers.
Mellas narrows her eyes, the smell becoming near unbearable. When he leans forward to place his hands over hers, her first reaction would be to smack the other away, but for some reason... this feels different. A strange familiarity, a closeness she accepts without asking. She slides her hands away from under his, and reaches up to try and reveal the others identity by pulling the hood down.

Jacula looks her up and down as his face is revealed. He lets the robe fall to the ground as his eyes lock with hers, his expression turning into a soft smile 'It has been so long..' he whispers
Mellas's hazel eyes widen visibly, taking a deep, shuddering breath. 'Jacula..' she responds softly, saying his name as if she barely believes it's truly him who's standing before her. 'Jacula...' Her hand caresses his cheek tenderly. 'You're here.'
Mellas's face lights up and she jumps forward to take Jacula into a tight hug. 'It's you!' she exclaims, the joy written on her face.
Jacula gently runs his fingers through her hair, holding her tightly as she hugs him 'I knew you would come for me, my love' a single tear running down his cheek.
Jacula takes a step back, keeping his hands on her shoulders. His demeanor transcending into a serious one 'You need to know the truth, and before you say anything.. You must realize that this was the only way' his grip on her shoulders tightens slightly.
Mellas follows him and steps forward, keeping their distance at a minimum. She places her own hands over his. 'Of course I'd come for you... there's no need for you to ever doubt such a thing.' She looks him over in concern. 'Are you okay though? I heard they beat you - with hammers! You've been missing for days, no one knew where to look!' she speaks quickly, nearly stumbling over her own words.

Jacula places a soft kiss on her forehead before gesturing towards the chair 'Please, take a seat' he exclaims as he walks up to the altar, taking a deep breath before closing his eyes 'Every question.. Will be answered'
Mellas looks between Jacula and the chair, before tentatively taking a seat again, this time much more at ease. Tilting her head a little she watches him carefully, but lovingly. 'Very well, I'm listening.'
Mellas Fenixxes takes a seat.
Jacula turns around as he runs his fingers through his hair, his piercing gaze wandering over her. 'You are sitting in a place known only to few my love. You have sacrificed your very soul to be here.' he takes a deep breath before continuing 'You may never worship another god again, nor may you tell of or interfere in the bidding of the blackflame' he walks down to the base of the altar again, gently placing a hand on her cheek 'You own my heart melamin, yet the whisper resides in my mind since my childhood'
Jacula withdraws his hand as he stand before her 'I have promised you the truth, but first.. Ensure me that you will not tell of this place nor the wisdom that lies within'

Mellas lowers her gaze to the floor, shaking her head slowly as she bites her lip. 'But they took you, Samcat said they beat you up and dragged you into the sewers. Why would they do that if you always were...' she trails off, looking up to search for Jacula's eyes in the darkness of the temple. 'I have not told a soul, I could not tell a soul, not until I'd find you and, get you safe.'
Mellas sighs. 'There's no use in telling now, not ever. I promise you I won't, but you'll have to enlighten me of the wisdom you've found here.' She glances back in the direction of the library.
Jacula trials his fingers over his heart, his eyes digging deeper into hers 'For if you do, a death of unimaginable cruelty awaits me, and if i was to expose this place.. The same fate awaits you'
Jacula smiles weakly 'Everything you know about my disappearance is a lie my love. A lie i indulged myself in to bring you here.. To tell you the truth about me, and the truths of existence'
Mellas gasps and stands up again, giving Jacula a somewhat angry shove backwards onto the altar. 'You *lied* to me?' she exclaims. 'All this worry and all this trouble me and others have gone through, was for nothing!!?' she reaches forward, placing her hands against his platemail, eyeing the various weapons he carries with him. 'Dakkru's helmet...' she whispers. 'An artifact from your youth...'

Mellas leans forward and against Jacula, wrapping her arms around him. 'You're not a murderer, no?
Jacula keeps calm as he is shoved back against the altar, not breaking eye-contact with Mellas. He takes another deep breath as she wraps her arms around him 'You have to understand Mellas, I was born into this. I was so crushed when you choose between Odinsdi and me that dreadful day so very long ago. I saw no point in living in a world where we couldn't be together' he looks down as rips his shirt, revealing her name tattooed in a careful fashion over his heart 'I came back here.. Because i wanted to forget. Yet nothing could break the love i feel towards you'
Jacula keeps her pressed against him 'I am a murderer my love, we all are. The helmet and amulet was in fact useless trinkets, a devious plot to carry out the blackflame's bidding.' he bites his lip, his voice growing softer 'I had to do what i did, if i had not they would have come for you.'
Mellas's eyes begin to brim with tears when he mentions a painful memory in their past. The sight of his new tattoo causing them to flow down her cheeks. 'Oh Jacula...' she whispers, sliding her fingers over his heart, and her own name above. 'I killed my friend, they threatened to harm you too... and Shangshi, he mentioned another loved one he didn't want to see hurt. Is this how they work!?' she yells the last part. 'Threatening to harm what's most dear to you in order to have one do terrible deeds?!' She tightens their embrace, partially relieved that Jacula is alright, yet partially wishing she had never known the truth. 'What would you have me do?'

Jacula squeezes her gently as he closes his eyes 'Mogweh was your test my love, he was using you, and whatever power he had over you was shattered when you killed him.' he strokes her hair slowly before exclaiming 'I have been the one behind all of this my love, for i have done the blackflame's bidding.. And through all these events, we can be together. No more lies and no more secrets. Just you and me, together. Forever'
Mellas closes her eyes, processing everything that happened. The lies, the truth, the feelings that slither between the two. 'I love you, I will always love you, no matter what you are. It's not something you'll always have to be.' Her lower lip trembles as she speaks. 'Doesn't mean you'll always have to be, my phoenix.'
Mellas smiles softly through the tears. 'You're with me, and you're alright, we're both alright.' She places a tender kiss on his heart, his loving words giving her hope. 'Together, forever. We can make the best of this.'
Jacula crushes their lips together in a passionate kiss, knowing that all he did, the life's he destroyed. The sorrow and pain he brought upon Yliakum was worth it. And he would do it again, a thousand times over. If only it led up to this moment 'I love you too. This is the first day in the rest of our life's'

Mellas leans into the kiss, reaching up to wrap her arms around his neck to bring them even closer. After all she's done to reach him, it isn't a sin to love. Religion be damned. She found the place where her heart lies, she found the place where she wants to be. And if that happens to be within the temple of darkness, so be it. 'This is the truth, then,' she murmurs. 'I'm with you.'
Jacula smiles, overjoyed by her words 'And I am with you. Come, there is something i want to show you' he says as he take hold of her hand gesturing towards the dark tunnel leading towards the library.
Mellas chuckles, rejoicing at the feeling of him beside her, holding her hand once again. She squeezes it lovingly, forgetting everything else. 'Sure,' she smiles, letting him know she'll be following.
Jacula makes a sweeping gesture towards the bookshelf's 'In here lies the tomes of old. Keepers of the greatest truths and lies. I have spent my life to learn them all. And as a neophyte of the temple, so must you my love.' he says as he gives her a warm smile
Mellas chuckles, making a face. 'The greatest truths and lies, well said, I have to say.' She makes her way over to the books, remembering some of them she read before. 'Just exactly...' she says as she slides her fingers over some of them. 'Just exactly what does the whisper expect?'
Jacula walks up next to Mellas, admiring the vast collection of books looming in the shelf before them 'The whispers does not expect. It demands that it's bidding is served, and in return we gain what we crave most. In my case my love, that is you' he lets his right hand wander over her back as he turns to her 'When i return to Hydlaa I will make use of an alibi, explaining my absence.'

Mellas blushes a bit, letting go of the books as she leans up to press a kiss on Jacula's lips. 'Nay.. the whisper didn't give you what you crave most then. It's you who enchanted me, and you still do,' she smiles warmly. 'You had my heart all along. And I wouldn't want for anyone else to hold it.'
Jacula puts his arm around Mellas with a satisfied smile on his lips 'Let's leave this place for now my love, i will tell you more of this alibi later. But first, i wish to feel the azure sun on my skin. It has been to long' he says while looking over at the exit
Mellas smirks up at Jacula, gently touching the red skin of his cheek. 'You could use a tan, aye,' she laughs. 'You've been getting pale down here.' With amusement written on her face, she slides her own arm around him, giving a light push in the direction of the exit. 'Let's go!'

And so it was that Mellas chose the path of darkness, swearing her loyalty to the blackflame. Those of light had lost their paragon, for her deeds was to depend on the whisper from here on out. Jacula had been successful and now he could reap the fruits of his labor. They had been reunited and now they had a chance to start over. An alibi was to be created and the truth to be kept. For the truth belongs to the blackflame, and those who meddle will pay the highest price. No loose ends where to be left and a final test was to be administered..

[I feel very fortunate that so many people has taken interest and contributed to this event.  \\o// A battle has been won in the eternal struggle between good and evil, but the war rages on. There is more to come and a devious task is to unfold, stay tuned, and most importantly. Enjoy  :)]

Outstanding!
Exceedingly well done Jacula et al.

It really feels like a dark power has risen in Yliakum now.

"Tests And Teachings"
No loose ends where to be left and a final test was to be administered..

"I leave the clash of blades to thee, for the killing blow belongs to me. Watch did I the fearsome fight, cloaked in shadow weaving lies. I wield not sword nor a single blade, patiently i wait within the shade. I know your strength, I know your fear. inside your head i calmly leer. For when i strike, deception i wield. And my attack will be a sight unseen. For all this time you've been blind to see, your every breath belongs to me."

Jacula sat on the edge of a roof on one of the many buildings in Hydlaa. Studying the book given to him by Serana. Her wisdom knew no bounds in his mind, she was his tutor and in many ways a mother. She had sensed the greatness deep within Jacula and she had taught him that the ways of deceit was deadlier than any blade.

"Studying the book given to him by Serana"

"Those who does not punish evil, commands it to be done."

Hydlaa was a cesspit of misguided notions. Jacula had experienced the blind goodness that resided there first hand, as well as it's naive ideology and politics. The lack of unity among those of good intentions had helped his plot run smoothly.

"Unity is everything, for a deceiver without a soldier is like a painter without a brush"

The order had grown exceedingly, and the blackflame was pleased. There was great talent in the neophytes who had given themselves to the cause, Jacula knew this. He would watch them grow into greater fiends, like he himself had done.

"Be firm with pawns and soldiers, for your tasks shall bring a spark to their motivation. Your auspices will be crude and efficient. Do this and they will follow you into the deepest valleys at the cost of a single praise ."

The ranks in the order was based on a simple ideology, the strong survive, the strong obey and thus they are rewarded. Through proving oneself you would slowly climb the ladder, by giving more than possible you would receive trice in return.

"To preserve unity it must be enforced by either the strength of your fist or the soothing caress of your hand. Yet those of greed and thirst for power will fall victim to their own obsession"

Jacula claimed no type of leadership nor did he thirst for power. Greed was like poison slowly seeping into a wound, soon enough those who served only themselves would shrivel up and die. Falling victim to their own obsession. His task had been one beneficial to himself, to the order and to the future plans of the master.

Jacula looked down, noticing a menki admiring the view below, he made his way down silently. Watching as the menki remained in his predicament. After watching him for a while he realized it was Mogweh, the pawn who had tried to claim his revenge by playing the very game Jacula had devoted his life to. His first reaction would be to end him for his transgressions yet without warning the whisper hissed in his ear, and his task was clear. And so it was that he walked up next to Mogweh, his personal opinion defying the whispers command.

Jacula avoids eye-contact with Mogweh, his gaze transfixed on a building far away 'Your time has come Mogweh' he says in a cold, emotionless voice.
Mogweh looks round, a look of surprise registering on his face, 'You?' he says then glancing over Jacula's body continues,'You look better than I expected.'
Jacula turns to Mogweh as his eyes dig into his 'There is two way's we can do this Mogweh. You hurt the only person i ever loved, and I demand redemption'
Mogweh replies cooly,'I haven't hurt anyone. I've done nothing that wasn't already meant to be.'
Jacula brushes some dirt of his shoulder, his beady ebon eyes unwavering and cruel 'I suspected to find you wallowing in self pity, but here you stand. I suppose I should thank you. For you have done me a great favor'
Mogweh shrugs,'Oh you mean Mellas? I helped her along the way nothing more. She had already begun the journey, I just made sure she kept going til journey end. You are of course welcome. I enjoyed that very much.', he smiles returning Jacula's gaze.
Jacula seems to tremble as a his eyes fill with blood lust 'I am offering you a choice menki, as any brave enough to enter our enclave deserves a second chance.. But personally, I am more tempted to skin you alive'
Jacula attempts to calm himself down, he licks his mouth disturbingly as he looks Mogweh up and down 'Yes.. So very tempted' he says silently
Mogweh nods, 'I understand my..transgressions, but I did what I saw fit. I will of course attempt to make amends for breaking the code. Speak you terms and I shall answer immediately', he replies in flat monotone.
Jacula rips his gaze of Mogweh, closing his eyes for a moment. They slowly return to a calm ebon tone as he sneers 'Walk with me' he gestures for Mogweh to follow him.

Jacula walked swiftly through Hydlaa, Mogweh following him close behind. They enter the alley where they first met, the brown tone of dried blood can still be seen on the ground below, he turns to Mogweh. Would history repeat itself?

Jacula looks around the narrow alley, turning his gaze to Mogweh 'You remember this place?'
Mogweh looks around and mutters,'and this is where it all began..'
Jacula seems to be struggling to keep himself from ripping Mogweh to shreds. He tightens his fist as his eyes lock with his 'The whisper has plans for you Mogweh. Which prevents me from harming you. As i said.. You have a choice. And I am here to offer you a test'
Mogweh regards Jacula's ire with interest, 'You seem upset? You shouldn't be, I would never harm you and I await the terms of your 'test' with great anticipation. I serve the Whisper as do you. Please tell me your terms.'
Jacula mutters as his eyes darken, he offers Mogweh his hand 'Personal history aside, we serve the same cause. And we are entering a new dawn as we speak' he awaits his reaction, seemingly uninterested.
Mogweh takes Jacula's hand and nod curtly.

Jacula tightens his grasp on Mogwehs paw, shaking it a few times before letting go 'A message will come your way soon, ready yourself.. And make no mistake, nobody wants to see you fail more then I do'
Mogweh looks coldly at Jacula for a second before forcing a smile saying,'Then you would lose a valuable ally Jacula and perhaps even a friend.' his gaze never leaving the Ywynn eyes.
Jacula leans in whispering in Mogwehs ear 'Let's not make this a charade menki, I will be waiting for you to make a mistake.. And when you do, we will see how much of your own entrails you can eat.' he takes a step to his side 'Ready yourself.. For the rewards of those who are successful are limitless'
Mogweh looks at Jacula from the corner of his eyes as he leans in and says smiling,'oh I'll be ready.'
Jacula takes out a glypth of his pouch, dropping it to the ground 'This may be of use to you.' he looks into the darkness of the alley before exclaiming 'This conversation never happened'
Jacula Pundactum dropped a Weakness.
Jacula walks out of the alley, still struggling against the powerful urge coming over him.
Mogweh looks down at the Glyph and as he reaches down to pick it up says,'Weakness, not my strong point, but thanks' he stands and sees he is along and his words are lost.

Jacula had never enjoyed hurting people, in fact he had a despise for those who found pleasure in sadism. Yet somehow this felt so very different, the urge he had to cause Mogweh harm was almost unbearable. The very though if it filled him with disgust towards himself yet he couldn't wait for Mogweh to fail in his test, so he could sink his blades into him. He wished him no success of any kind yet the whispers command was clear. Would Mogweh pass the test?

"The task"

A unusually small deporable looking groffel claws at Mogweh's leg, it has a message strapped to his collar, the message reads 'A task is upon you, further information can be found where knowledge resides.'

Mogweh makes his way to the library

[Just read the quote if logs bore you.]

The stranger seems to be inspecting a book, he turns the pages swiftly as if looking for something.

The stranger turns to Mogweh, looking him up and down before sighting somewhat, dropping the book to the ground willingly.
Mogweh bends down and picks you the book handing it to the stranger.
The stranger accepts the book as he stares at Mogweh for a moment, he begins to make his way out of the library, signalling Mogweh to follow with a slight gesture of the finger.
Mogweh turns and follows silently

After walking down to the lower district in East Hydlaa they stop at a building.

The stranger takes out a key, unlocking the door. He looks back at Mogweh shooting him a sight before he walks up the stairs
The stranger cups his chin in his hand as he watches Mogweh with squinted eyes 'Name?'
Mogweh glances around and then fixes his gaze upon the stranger and waits.
Mogweh replies slowly, 'Mogweh Parduu'
The stranger snorts, spitting to the ground before him 'Profession?'
Mogweh looks around and scratches his arm before answering,'I'm a guard at the Red Crystal Den. What is this?'
The stranger nods slowly, taking a step towards him 'Faith?' he enquirers
The stranger watches Mogweh more intently, ready to take action depending on his answer.
Mogweh's forehead furrows. He stares the stranger directly in the eyes and says slowly, 'Laanx, I'm a good friend of Giroum'
The stranger smiles weakly and bows gracefully before him 'I was told to bring you this little.. Piece' he says seemingly amused as he takes a sealed note out of his pocket, handing it to Mogweh

Quote
A task is upon you. A task of vital importance. You are to find and subdue Samcat "Sam" Silka. When this is done you will convince him to take the blame for Jacula's kidnapping. Your leverage in this task will be pain and promises of pain to come. This is your test, and upon completion truths will become clear to you. Fail however, and you will be the one to have a lesson in pain. Go forth, for when the azure sun sets on the last day of Quintahl it will be too late.

Mogweh's eyes flicker as he slowly takes the letter, 'Shall I read it now?'
The stranger chuckles in a delightful fashion 'Excuse the little questioning.. I was told it was most necessary' he nods eagerly at the question 'Yes yes, there is little time'
Mogweh turns the letter in his hand looking at the stranger carefully before breaking the seal and reading the note. Slowly a smile appears on Mogweh's face as he reads. Once finished he folds the letter and places it within the folds of his cloak, 'My response is yes, if you need such a thing.'
The stranger laughs delightfully 'Oh, I'm afraid you don't have a choice in this matter.' he looks around before handing Mogweh a morning star 'This little piece has proven to be efficient in the type of task you are about to embark on. The keeper sends his regards'
The stranger gave Mogweh a Morning Star.
Mogweh hold the morning star inexpertly in his hands swapping it from one to the other. He murmers,'I guess you're never to late to learn new tricks.' Then looking up at The stranger he asks,'anything else?'
The stranger takes out a bottle of sedative, he unscrews the top taking a breif sniff from the bottle 'ah yes.. I almost forget' he rambles 'here' he hands Mogweh the bottle with a smirk 'Careful now, it's strong as the day is bright'
Mogweh takes the bottle and loosening the lid gives a faint sniff, recoiling slightly before stoppering the bottle and placing it within his robe.
The stranger staggers up towards the door, slowly opening it. 'Let yourself out yeah?' he jeers before making his way down the stairs.

[The "Stranger" asked for their identity to be kept out.  ]
