Was there really any point in you posting that?  No?  Didn\'t think so...[/COLOR]

Only n00bs don't quote themselves...

You are wrong. Actually, money is important for everyone :)
But much money != good program (!= means \"not equals\")
Look at Windows: much money, shitty program.
Linux: no money (Debian for example): excellent software.
No wonder, why viruses are ONLY very common on Windows, and not under Linux... :)

As it was said by me at least 5 time :)
Crystal Space will soon have a new OpenGL renderer, that will feature full-dynamic stencil shadows (like Doom 3), specular lighting, bump-mapping, shaders. Many things will be possible through shaders. This new renderer is already under development for a long time, it is just not ready. It will be in 2-3 months (the devs at CS say).
It will look way better than now.

Anyway, visual quality often depends much more on the skills of the modelers, not the engine...

you mean I\'m not a cool newbie? ;)

I just hate the word \'n00b\' or \'newbie\' it\'s just plain not nice and the last thing someone new to a game needs is to be shoved under a \'you suck\' label =/

it\'s just plain elitist :P

I prefer \'new people\' or \'low levels\' or in RO \'novices\' :P

The way it works is... you help the new people and be nice, you chat too much so you lvl slow, they level faster than you and help you out lots with items and hugs and stuff because they remember how cool you were ;)

I prefer bashing \'l337\' people... it\'s funnier and more interesting =3

there\'s a difference between a \'n00b\' and a jerk ;)
just because someone\'s new doesn\'t mean they\'re an idiot, and just because someone\'s really annoying doesn\'t mean they\'re new :P

but by being jerks they automatically bring down the whole n00b-society, and now when you see a newbie after such a traumatising experience you immediatly link that person with the evil-n00b-from-hell you just met. And so the general image of the newbie-society has been set by a few anti social newbs.

lol, that only really works if you\'re silly enough to generalise people =3

I\'ve met lots more annoying high-level jerks than new people, but I don\'t assume most high-level people are bakas :D

it\'s just a case of taking each person as they come instead of slapping a label on a whole group of people :P

Newbie?s are usually ok, or decent, but at some point and I figure early on we will get it?the typical ?/shout newbie give me something ? and that gets annoying very quick.

How to stop that I am not sure but I?m sure we might think of something :-)?in fact I have?limiting what a newbie can say until they reach a certain point :-)?but we?ll have to figure out what point exactly.

that is some messed up stuff, (if you can\'t deal with it, why play, create game in first place?)

p.s. hate when people give others less of something where it should be equal distribution.
