Tinkering
« on: June 01, 2003, 06:08:15 pm »
you get metals/materials(salvage) to add to a weapon to change it\'s arrtibutes, i have been playing MMORPG\'s FOR a ong time and with a bunch of weapons that are the same get\'s boring after a while so if it had say a workmanship/craftmanship of say 5 that means you could tinker it 5 more times until it\'s exellent craft 10, and depending on which salvage you add depends on which attribute it alters... it will also add a better economic system and make the game more interesting :D

You kind of mean an upgrade system a bit like System Shock 2? Where you can, with the right skills, improve a weapon? I\'m all for that :)

fine with me cuz but you\'d limit the amount of weapons you could have cuz that means every upgrade becomes a new weapon. But I like where this is going.

I brought these ideas up in another post.  I believe it was called \'Weapon Customization\' or something similar to that.
