Maybe we should work with kits. Every town has his standard building and you can choose one. If you got more resources you can build an bigger version.

My opinion on this, is we will likely use kits of some type. You will get many parts you can choose from (styles fitting the city) and you put those parts together as you wish, and pay for construction?the server will give you the all clear or not.

In the case of custom parts and or (player made parts) I am sure this will go through devs and once submitted (unless special conditions arise) then everyone will have access to those parts?though the originators may have some claim to the concept and gain something for each person that uses it?character money or some such.

Yep, this sounds better. But there\'s still the space problem(or flooding the devs).

The age may be medieval, but it\'s also magical.  An architect that is also skilled in magic should have diffrent design options available to them: Ie. Construction of a fortress out of a solid, fluid like stone, or whatever may be the natural genre of their race.  Of course, this may lead to racial affiliation with elements, adding a whole new dynamic to things, but that would be allright too.  This would make people tend to associate with those that are of the same elements, so that when they hunt, and play to the majority of the peoples strengths regarding the elements, one isn\'t at an obvious disadvantage.

Anyhow, this is getting more complex than I wanted it to.... :(

Not sure if these have all ready been covered.
Don\'t get much time to browse the boards.
---Need a Name Verification, so don\'t have to go to the start of creation to change name.
---Name Delete from inside of game for bad database
---Mulitple Name selection- so if you have 4 toons then can see the names maybe pic or race, then select enter game.
---When log out brings you to log in screen ,in case wanting to goto different toon.

Building
« Reply #36 on: November 25, 2003, 03:15:55 pm »
First sorry for my bad english, i\'m italian.  ;)

But the developers have already planned something as regards the possibility of building?  ?(

I consider is better that the space must be, to the beginning, bought turning to of the NPCs or through Web as for the objects now.
About quantity and quality of structure that can be build i think it\'s necessary a guild or a group of admins that must approvate new request for build.

Ah, anhoter question, will be possible in the next release to change player password?

Wonderfull PS, hope to see u in the game!  :D

That should be only for buddies. Some people don\'t want their identities revealed(like spies...).

Like in some other thread, I support the idea that also char names should be hidden to most.

I agree with lynx_lupo, certainly implement this kind of information among the various members of the guild and make it optional toward all the others.

Having the possibility of wiev the messages of the guild in a separate window, seen that at a few moments there is a lot of spam to make difficult the dialogues between members, would also be comfortable.

Enjoy you with PS!  :D

Yeah, I think there should be a way to view the guild members that are online, instead of having to put them all in your friend list... If spam is bad now (with most that I saw being 40 people online) imagine when the game will really start! So a if the guild chat would be in a diffrent window it would be handy indeed :D

Or at least have an option to have guild/friends chat in a separate window.   Or maybe even a coloring scheme in the normal window just to separate whos who... or an option to ignore public spam and only see stuff from your guild/friends.... and only PM would get through....

Well, I think that if you can squelch (is that the way how you write this?...) the spammers would be a good idea! Even if that would probably happen if squelch is enable, you just have to hunt the names of the spammers :P

i have read about the government system. I think there should be rulers elected and policies forimed. Also treaties could be negotiated. My biggest wish is for the lag time to decrease and the graphics to improve(I know a huge task). If they tweak the graphics engine, they should be ok.

I got a (stupid?) question: Why do people spam their wishes in this thread when there\'s the whole section for it? Especially when what they\'re posting as already been discussed?
