Our old maths teacher loved "Chicherin green".
Some say it may be related to the Soviet Foreign Minister under Lenin,
Georgy Chicherin, but that might be a mere rumour. At least he must have worn a green coat while traveling.
It is mainly used to describe a colour which either has no very specific (mainly green, possibly towards yellow) hue, but a rather high saturation, up to a level of annoyance — or is at least quite out of place where it was used.
