overdrives/trances/special whatever you want to call, basically like on final fantasy games, just wondered what people thought of this. I would post a poll, but i cant find it.

Overdrives , limits etc are typically from Final Fantasy...
When you fight many monsters, you get more and more \"angry\", then you reach a point where can do a major attack or combo...Very flashy and deadly...

But i wouldn\'t like to see it in Planeshift...
A berserk skill will do it fine  :]

So no adrenaline based thing. Maybe you\'re right, that\'s more for the fast action, hack and slash kinda game, while we are playing rpg. It\'s just this kinda stuff that really divides the rpg games and hack and slash genre. Although I myself am a big fan of hack and slash, PS, might be better of without it. This skill you proposed Skain, is something that really depends on the pace with which you kill monsters, and that is something not absolutely necessary in PS imo. Wonderful idea though.

There probably should be skills or spells which do something similar, but I don\'t know if it should be triggered by damage or such. But then again, it worked really well in Devil May Cry. Completely different games, though.
