Compensating people for their inventories or carrying them over will not work. It will unbalance the game and possibly make it impossible for newcomers. Here\'s an example:
Let\'s say Person A had a galkard in the Molecular Blue release and the developers decide to give him a 1000 tria compensation for it. Ok, now let\'s say that Person A heads over the the blacksmith and, with his bonus 1000 tria, can afford the best equipment avaliable so he buys it. Now it seems that the cost of equipment is too cheap, so the cost is raised to make up for the 1000 tria bonus. Now Person A decides he wants to go fight some monsters so he heads out to the nearest spawning grounds and VERY easily (due to his equipment) takes them out. Well, now the monsters are too weak so the developers are forced to make them tougher. This, in turn, makes it much harder if not impossible for people that couldn\'t afford decent equipment (due to not having the 1000 tria bonus) to kill monsters. Well, now Person A has a fairly decent challenge, but can take the now more powerful monsters comparably easily. This makes it so that the people that did not have the 1000 tria bonus in the beginning have a hard time finding the monsters they have a difficult time killing, which, in turn makes it so they have even less income.
Now you see that it would more than likely be a mistake to compensate for (or carry over) weapons and items from Molecular Blue to Crystal Blue. It would be much better to do a complete wipe, not saving anything.
P.S. The 1000 tria is just to make an example, it\'s not a real value.
