Thanks Antity, I have a qwerty keyboard myself so I wouldn\'t have known that otherwise. I\'ll add it to the FAQ, with credit to you of course.

Vengeance: I had a feeling you would already. It\'s part of your job after all. ;)

You know what they say: Where there\'s a will, there\'s a way, and where there\'s a way, Moogie will be there to give you the guided tour. :)

glad to be able to help

however i have to correct my previous assertion, it seems only to be valid on win32, i finally got  the sources to compile on my debian sid, the one working there to activate mouselook is \'\\\\\'  (obtained through \"alt gr\"+\"8\" )
I experienced some problems which I will now report in a more appropriate thread

How should I know how it works?That\'s what developers are for.  I only tried it.

The game installs by default to c:\\program files\\PlaneShift so the executables are all in there.

Before you load the game, run the Updater and then configure your game with the pssetup.exe program.

You can also start the game by going to the start menu > programs > PlaneShift > \'Planeshift - OpenGL Mode\'

Hope that helps.

[Edit: New \'Play Guide\' links added to initial thread. Thanks to Havena for that. :)]

Mogura:

Havena\'s Travelers guide can be made into a link by placing \"http://\" in front of it.

http://saber.co.nz/explorers/guide.html

not all newbies know how to cut & paste :)

Okay, you said it was due out in 14 months..... how long ago was that? er... better question: How much longer do the developers think the game\'ll take to be complete?

The game will never be \"completed\" or at least, that is the plan... PS is ever-evolving, and so is the graphics system, so new content, and new graphics should be added regularly... There is, however, going to be a new release (Crystal Blue) around december, or perhaps later... depending on how much time the devs have...

Perhaps she didn\'t get around to it?
Not much I can do for ya, but I think they changed servers, there\'s a thread on it somewhere. (In discussion I think.)

The 3 are new and part of the second quest...it just makes it harder (and therefore more fun...for me) to do it if it takes you longer to find them ;)

The server moved but that should not be a problem anymore, just keep trying and you will get in. (The server may also be down, be sure to check out the server status page to be sure)

Now go.

suggestion
« Reply #29 on: September 08, 2003, 07:18:19 am »
Does anyone know how to make a suggestion to the dev-team???   If so,  could someone suggest to put in a full 3rd person view instead of constant 1st?        it\'d make it more enjoyable for alot of people.     Of course keeping the option of 1st person as well for those who like that.
