hehe, I like Moogie and if you read my threads you would see that... allthough I aknowledge that reading all my threads would take some time... but you would also realize that many of my threads are well over a page long.... anyways I don\'t post as often as I used to so you can expect my number of posts per day to slowly wither away...

At this point of the game it seems to me that forum support is just as vital (if not more vital) than playing the client and crystal hunting.  Not to be mean though, but in my opinion there isn\'t much reason to reward any of us... don\'t you guys enjoy playing the client and helping out?  Why should they reward you for doing what you like to do...

Well I\'m glad you like Moogie but I refuse to read every post there is cause I\'ll be sitting in this here chair until tomorrow morning. The only reason I\'m working my bum off to download this bloody demo is to help find the bugs even if it mean staying sitting in front of my computer praying that my 56k modem doesn\'t feel like timing out while I\'m taking 2 hours downloading each part (And I\'m not finished). :D

The body is but a vessel for the soul,
A puppet which bends to the soul\'s tyranny.
And lo, the body is not eternal,
For it must feed on the flesh of others,
Lest it return to the dust whence it came.
Therefore must the soul
Decieve, despise, and murder men.

Ooof Drilixer, I didn\'t have a Gold Falchion, I HAVE one... But I know that someday they\'ll take it away from me... ;( Silly Talad and Venge... Stupids :(

Oh yea, btw... Got it for being the best person in the world, and... err... Oh yea, I finished 2nd (or 3rd) in the \"First Quest\", and won a bunch of crystals. :)

I\'m afraid that the NPC chat interface has scared me away from the quests... even though someone has already told me how to do both of em :P  I just can\'t stand this stupid chat interface

Yeah, whats with those quests? How could they be made easier/possible? Some one mentioned that the NPCs give hints as to what words they want by Capitalizing them- maybe if the whole word was bold? Or if you used the right word, but not in a full sentance, they would say something like, \"can you say more?\"

If we are going to do a text based system - it should be done in one word instead of a phrase since phrases simply add in worthless connectors that non-English speakers trip over - it should be done like in Morrowing where possible conversation topics are either emboldened or in a different color

100 % agree. like \"hyperlink talk\" you habe hyperlinks on good topics ; the logic is the same, but you don\'t have that bad syntax problem; possibly THE solution

yeah, I agree with Drilixer..

I\'ve completed both quests, and even though I consider myself quite good at writing english, I had some problems with the quests, if you aren\'t good at spelling english, or good at grammar, you WILL have problems. Whereas a system as in morrowind will offer you a simple and easy conversation.. Quests like the ones so far would have to be altered a little to support this system, since it will be a little too easy just walking around town finding the npc\'s and clicking everything they have to say..

I am for a system as in morrowind, but the quests would of course have to be altered :)

hehe, I\'m up for that compromise - the only problem is that since Molecular Blue is only one town quests would have to be made into huge chains between the NPCs to make them half interesting (which to tell the truth wouldnt be fun).  Nonetheless in a larger version, such as whats hopefully coming next, we could possiblely see some inter-town quests and quests to DO things - which would then show the power of the \'hyperlinked words and phrases\' idea.

EDIT: some phrases could require succesful intelligence or wisdom checks to unlock, also

Yes, I would like exactly such a system too, Drilixer!

Just as in real dialogue (In reality :P) you can have insigts into the motives of the speaker if he says something, and you have a high enough intelligence score you are smart enough to understand what lies behind.. They have used this a bit in neverwinter nights, and I liked that very much... too bad there wasn\'t that much...

hehe, I know what you mean!  I used to play NWN, but it\'s lack of original content just got old, and now every time I log on no matter what mod I play in it seems the same... even the hardcore mods are the same game... just made much slower *gag*.  That game wasn\'t made well.  I am sure the Devs won\'t let this game turn out like that though.

I certainly don\'t hope it will turn out anything like Nwn either.. that game was hyped, and IMO crappy :P

Then Heulfryn, I assume you would also want the current system changed? :)
