Offline Tutorial
« on: September 01, 2003, 05:52:31 pm »
This is summin I think would make the game better all round. Newbies wouldn\'t ask so many questions online, as it would answer any questions they have. This might take some time to make, so I\'m not looking for it to be created any time soon.

I think a better option is a \'New Player Castle\' where there are many guides and maybe a simple dungeon to explore where people can get used to the game.  The game is really more about interacting with others so no offline version :)

I dunno, I\'ve always been really disturbed by npc\'s who start talking to me ingame about SHIFT keys and mouse buttons.
\"Right click on object to pick up\", i mean really, i like to be immersed in the game and its universe, kinda odd when a medieval fighter starts talking about right clicking and keyboards. This kinda thing always kicks me back into reality and i find it really annoying.

Game and tutorial should be completely seperated in my opinion.

I think there should be an offline tutorial, and it should only be possible to play the game once it\'s done. I hate smartass noobs who think they don\'t need to read the help, then ask really obvious questions as soon as they get in the game.
