I believe that the way around the whole sword naming, could be something like.
\"Short Sword - Star Scope\"
\"Heavy Spear- Wrong Judgement\"
\"Warhammer- Glyph Breaker\"
This way when I ask for a sword in a shop I see a list of swords like:
Short Sword- \"Star Scope\"
Short Sword- \"Bringer\"
Short Sword- \"Monkey Spanker\"
Long Sword- \"Heavens Bolt\"
Falchion- \"Swift Bearer\"
This way, as you can see, the \'Star Scope\' and the \"Monkey Spanker\" are the same sword.
A good tool would be to be able to name a sword you just bought with a command like: /rename or a dialoge box. Which would be great if you were a blacksmith and wanted to sell swords and make them attractive. So maybe some newbs could be scammed, but that can be solved:
The Blacksmith, when editing his shop, has a LIST showing all the items in his inventory, something like:
Short Sword(s) Qty: 10 Price: 200
Heavy Short Sword(s) Qty:4 Price 300
Long Sword(s) Qty: 2 Price: 480
This way, the Blacksmith is forced to price all the swords that are the same the same price. So the Buyer would see this:
Short Sword- \"Star Scope\"--200t
Short Sword- \"Bringer\"--200t
Short Sword- \"Monkey Spanker\"--200t
Long Sword- \"Heavens Bolt\"--480t
Falchion- \"Swift Bearer\"--680t
I think this is the best way to avoid Scams, and I hope someone reads this.
I digress, the renaming should definetly be done in a dialoge box.
*Edit: I also may point out that Short Swords and Heavy Short Swords are two different swords, so would be an \"Fire Enchanted Short Sword\" so they can be priced differently. Please tell me what you think.
