Hiya everyone,
Our good friends at Fragnetics are offering 3 FREE 50mb webspace accounts (ad-less, bannerless, limitless!) to select PlaneShift Guilds. The idea is that Guild leaders would send an application to be reviewed to see if they qualify to be entered into a competition.
We need to write up some criteria, requirements, so as to ensure Guilds who submit an application arn\'t going to disappear after a couple of weeks, and that they are going to put this space to good use if they win. Any comments and suggestions are welcomed, but bear in mind that we want to make sure the requirements are fair and do not ignore new Guilds or those who simply do not get as much publicity as others.
Chrischoo throws around some ideas:
Clans can purchase their own domains from other sources, and we will
do the necessary set-up required to have their e-mail and websites hosted on
our server. Alternatively we could start a http://clans.fragnetics.com
subdomain as well.
There is no catch to this offer, except that we are only interested in
having the more established clans who have such a need, host their websites
with us. If they already have their own domains we can set up their accounts
such that they are entitled to unlimited e-mail accounts as described under
our web hosting plans at http://www.fragnetics.com/services/webhosting.html
Also bear in mind that, because we intend on holding an open contest, the criteria need not be so strict as to only apply to 3 Guilds. Let\'s get a list of applicable Guilds involved and have the members of each competing against eachother in some really fun way.

Here\'s my personal input on the idea:
1st point: The contest should involve all the Guild members of those involved in a group activity. The contest itself could be one big event, or it may be comprised of several smaller events, like a school sports day. The teams would rack up points in various different competitions and have a total at the end. The 3 highest scores win!
2nd point: Applicable Guilds should at least have some basic form of Website up, if only for proof that they are somewhat organised and serious about their commitment. I don\'t think requirements should be set for how new or old a Guild has to be, but that is of course for you all to decide.

Many thanks go to Chrischoo and the
Fragnetics Team for this unique offer!
Looking forward to your input. Give us your thoughts!
