Cadoras you are almost too proud; we are not here to flame other mercenary type guilds, but feel free to point out that when the game is ready we will be \"competing\" for employers...

In fact, I would like to define our neutrality slightly more accurately than it has been before: In terms of world politics, the good vs. the bad, the shifting of power between guilds; none of these things concern us, and we will not involve ourselves unless paid to do so.

However (you could sense it coming couldn?t you?), We will protect our own interests. Anyone who interferes with our aims or goals will be dealt with. To clarify; our aim is profit; put simply, someone taking potential customers is biting into potential profit. At the moment there is little point in flaming or spamming those who will suffer as our competitors. At this time the guild presenting the most predominant threat to profit is the defenders, but we shall deal with them when and if the time comes.

As always competitors are offered the opportunity to join The Mercenary Guild, but I sincerely doubt they will choose this option.

And now I am going to bed, the hail of flames I may get can wait till morning.

This guild looks like it will definently be going places.  Just curious about one thong though, what mercenary...istic... things will you be involved in?  Since a PK system has not been decided on.  But you do have a very well thought out guild here and I wish you luck.

Hmm no flames...

Well as you said the pk system is still being decided, but i think its fair to say assassination will not be one of the services available unless they massively change the pk rules.

However, for the right amount of tria i believe we will be able to offer a wide range services;

Assistance in guild wars: Stalemate? We can tip the scales, the real question is; can you afford NOT to hire us?
Guild attack: want to get rid of a certain guild that is stealing your profits? But don?t want to get blood on your own hands? We can be hired anonymously to take them out.
Garrisoning: your castle under threat? We can protect you.
Escorting: can?t complete a quest on your own? We can slay that dragon for you.
Hire a Champion: Some one challenged you to a duel in the arena? Not sure you can win? Why not hire one of our 5 champions to represent you, by fighting instead of you.
Real world character portraits: want a character portrait? Hire our guild artist Empanado to bring to life the character you have always imagined.

The above services are almost certain; the ones below however depend on what rules are implemented:

Spying: need to know what goes on behind closed doors? We can find out.
Thieving: someone got an item with your name on it?  We can retrieve it.
Demolition: someone?s castle/shop/house in your way? We can smash it? smashy smashy?
Merchandise escorting: have to move your wares through a particularly bandit infested stretch of land? Or though a stretch of pk enabled land? We can defend your goods, and make sure they arrive on time.
Assassination: someone in particular obstructing your livelihood? We can ?remove? your problem.

I think I have most of our possible services there. However if you are a more unique customer and have a different need that you believe we may be able to satisfy, do not be afraid to ask.

Hey Serphet! Good to have you back! :D

Quite a few new members, some modifications to the site, and a lot of new pictures. And outside of the guild; a lot of spamming courtesy of A LOT of new planeshifters, and A LOT of new guilds. The dark alliance is back too, except hellsing has been replaced by the Blackflame clan. That?s about it really...

Oh, also I fractured and dislocated my kneecap about 2 weeks ago now  :(

Empanado and I are the Mercenary Guild\'s only currently existing \"foot soldiers.\" :D

To all you other mercs: early butt-kissing is crucial :P (wait till you get  to at least  initiate to start stating your honest opinion) and advertise at every possible moment. Do this and you may become one of Zephyrus\' legendary foot-soldiers.
