I think recent events can pretty much determine the answer to his proposal alone.  Until things change, there will never be an alliance between us.  I\'m amzed this hasn\'t sunk into the Cabali\'s heads yet as this thread is still getting longer.

We dont expect the respect of those who were not around when we were more active. Many who were around at the time know we are a well run guild and we know our stuff. Those are the people who respect us. The newer beings of the realm were not around to grow to respect us.

Yes loyalty IS earned, as well as trust. And the cabal have done nothing to earn our trust/loyalty. Perhaps your \"exalted\" leader should practice what you preach. I would be interested in knowing what guilds \"cower\" before the cabal. I would like to speak to those guild\'s leaders and get some information about that.

And who respects the cabal? Other than cabal members. Very few, from what ive seen. Most people around here dont even take you seriously. You are free to prove me wrong and introduce me to all the cabal admirers though.

If Auran had not came groveling as soon as we popped up, we may have shown a little respect for the cabal. Thus they would have the chance to earn our trust and respect. Think before you act. He could have simply greeted us and welcomed us back, rather than give us the impression that they were up to something, giving us cause NOT to trust them.

I act under the basis of my leader. He saw opportunity and siezed it. You saw it as an act of weakness. He saw possibilities. Don\'t blind yourself with pride or you miss the outsite world.
