F2...bad xp...destroyed all my savegames, otherwise it\'s fine. I like Tactics too, as they employ another of my favourite aspects.

But the best is Baldur\'s gate2!

Heh. Me and a leagion!

Before you start it read this:
http://www.sorcerers.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=10;t=002241

It will tell you how to install patches and mods, so they will work properly.
In any case I suggest you use the easy-of-use mod(Weidu). It will make things easier . ;)

If it\'s your first time(playing BG, oc :)), use just the apropriate patches and the easy-of-use mod. You don\'t want to spoil your game!

1. BG can be made to work on linux. Do you mean Dark alliance? If so, that\'s completely different, a diablo clone alike.
2. That easy-of-use just removes some nasty microeconomics, nothing serious, but definetly worth having(like item stacking). So there\'s more of the game in the gametime... And when you install it you can choose which parts of the package to use.
