Macro-based Quests

Ok, Aineko was kind enough to give us Macros.
What can macros be used for?
*Hears the crowd say \"Lazy typers!\"*
I mean besides that...

Macro-Quest(tm)! :P

Anyone interested in doing a player-run quest to spice up MB even more?
A series would be even better, if there\'s desire for it.

It would be easier if we made good player-made NPC clients, using some of the code from the current NPCs...  The devs would hate us for that, though.

You guys really can\'t wait for CB and spamming the forums in the meanwhile like everyone? :D

But if you plan to add new NPCs, if think it\'ll be better to simply contribute them to the devs :P

What he\'s suggesting, Elscouta, is more like \"underground\" NPCs to run player-made quests; of course, its not really a great idea and could drastically hurt the community...

I have understood.

My point is: Why setting player-made quests? If you do a nice quest with all the coding and stuff, why not asking the devs to put it in-game?

The devs have made it extremely easy for NPCs, dialogs and quests to be made by normal players in Crystal Blue (with their approval of course). I think you should just wait untill then. :)

Wow...CB is like the answer to everything. I wonder if there\'ll be anything left to add to Planeshift once CB is installed...

Edit: Btw I like the idea of some player quests. After all, we need something to do while wainting for CB, right?

I think Darkmoon was going to organise a player run quest with players as actors awhile ago, but i havent heard anything about it since.

Macros are cool and fun, but lets keep them limited. (Player quests are a must!!!)  The last thing I want to see in PS is somebody gaining experience while afk because their character is in an infinite action loop macro killing nearby creatures.

Planeshift.Makro.storylw2 = /me narrates: Some of the ones destined to that greater glory were Monketh, Grakrim, Seperot, Draklar, Ravna, Arbraz, Tranor, and Druke.  Shadowx still lingers on occassion.  Several guilds have formed from it\'s ruins.  Well, anyway, for a time \'twas good.  The Legendary Warriors prospered, \'twas said \"The Sun never sets on the Legendary Warriors\".  They were common, and they were generally respected throughout these parts.  Their post-forum thrived, their ruby packs were full, and they were happy.
Planeshift.Makro.storylw3 = /me narrates: Their leader was more rude than his members, however.  He caused disputes between himself and other guilds.  One member in particular, Draklar, got so annoyed that he left with a good complement of the guild and founded The Defenders Brotherhood.  The Circle of Legends was one of those who had been annoyed.  One \'Holy Hacker\' Firebombeb himself and the post-forum of the Legendaries.  Enraged grew more paranoid by the day.  He went ballistic on the leaders of the Circle of Legends, and he would regret it.
Planeshift.Makro.storylw4 = /me narrates: This is what really led to the inevitable end.  The decline continued until such time that Enraged saw fit to remake the guild as: The Rangers Guild.  Seperot would use his house(site) as the hub of communications.  Enraged would become simply, \"Ranger\".  But the tide was against him, Grakrim, Seperot, and Monketh held an emergency meeting to decide their fate.  They decreed it was unsafe to allow Enraged to stay, as he might bring the end of the guild.  They set out on their own with Tranor and Shadowx.  Thus ended the time of the Legendary Warriors, past halfway into the Second age.  It lives on in those members who stayed, and gave.
