Thats absoulutely lovely Icefalcon, I\'m squizzling at the High res one now and I\'m really impressed, its a very \"grand\" image and your use of the filters  and blending propertys is great from the glass on the reflection on the water to the swirl in the sky,

now for the annoying pedantic nitpicking  bit:P

1.the blending propertys (outer glow) on the wings radiate a slightly different blue to the one on the central body of the bird shape, dont forget you can apply the same blending options by right clicking on the layer (in the layers tab) with the properties you want and copying the layer style to the  other layer by right cliking on it in ITS layer tab and pasting it there. you can also just remember the colour number and re type it in the colour selector window of the outer glow or whatever.

2. the reflection in the water
when doing a depth adding thing to a picture like adding reflections first think of the properties of the thing, in this case it is a mirror, so where you have free transformed it down and to the right it should maybe go strieght down instead as it is (albeit pretty and distorted) a simple reflection. Were that to be a duplicate image on a floor for instance you would  expand the bottom of it out by once again using the \"free transform\" (ctrl T) tool but dragging the corners of the selection (hold ctrl to just drag one corner) out

beyond all that theres nothing to say but Lovely work, I am quite impressed at both he work itself and how well youve picked up photoshop and its sillynesses

Gods of spelling, I stand AGAINST YOU!

Wow, thanks for the positive feedback, but thanks more for the negative. Ill try to improve it.

I didn\'t know you could apply the same blending options to a different layer ;)  thanks for that Kintall.

With the reflection, are you saying it shouldn\'t uh, reflect to the right at all? just straight down?

I am also thinking of making a different horizon, maybe a faint blue glow?

The problem is, all my stuff is abstract, I dont have the artistic skill that you have... My stuff is pure Photoshop special effects...

Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.
