mmm....Perhaps there could be the option to become a guard (if your are in a guild, I believe that the Guild Leader should agree with you joining the guard), but for this you must have a certain alignment, and qualities (good reputation, good attitude, good manners, etc). Hey, perhaps they should get a salary!
2. Will a person get many warnings before they are banned?
I believe they will. They warn you when you are acting out of line in the IRC channel, and since the GM will probably be the same, I think they will act like they always do in IRC.
3. Some quests will be cooperative....how will that work? like, how will the exp or items be split up? will more go to the people who were the most useful or will it be split evenly?
I think that the whole party should get the same amount of everything. I mean, everybody gets the same amount of exp. and money, and if someone receives, for example, a Holy Sword, then everyone should get a Holy Sword too.
4. Guilds will own their own guildhouse, can other things that are like guilds but they are not exactly one be able to own their own house to run business from?
It has been discussed before. I hope that both Guildhouses and personal houses are included, but implementing houses for everyone may be too hard (or take up too much room in the world)
5. Once players reach a certain level will they be \"recognized\" for their hard work, or other deeds they have done
I hope so...we should think about how...perhaps a free house...or a position in the government (I dont think it is likely to happen)...
6. If the guards are human-controlled will regular players be able to become a guard through getting voted guard from other players?
No, they should earn the job. Being popular (let\'s face it, being popular is what gives you the votes, not your abilities) doesn\'t mean that you will be a good guard.
Perhaps you join as a Rookie, and then if you do well they promote you to Soldier (or 2nd lieutenant, perhaps...) if you dont...you get kicked out (we should consider if people is allowed to try to join more than once)
7. Can the government in each city be different? And will there be any definate government anywhere?
There will be an government for the whole Yliakum. Remember the Internal Circle (Octarchs) and the Outer Circle (Vigesimi). It should be discussed if there will be local authorities. I think it\'s too much trouble for such a little issue (I think that with one government for the whole Yliakum is fine). But maybe there could be a small government for every floor of Yliakum.
8. As time goes on will the landscape Yliakum change and new cities appear/ be formed?
If you think about it, the world changes so slowly that you hardly notice it. But perhaps cities get bigger (or smaller, if people move out from it) and people can build houses or farms in the outskirts of the cities.
9. Will each city be different such as races/alignment/shops/items found there
I say \"YES!!!\". That way, travelling will be worth it. You visit different places , were the predominant race and alignement is another one, and if the local architecture is different it would be really great.
