Excellent choice Larien, definately my favourite :D

Do you plan to change your forum name as well? If so maybe the moderators could change your name for you, instead of having to create a new account.

Thanks, Kada! :D

No, I dont think I\'ll bother the mods right now :] Besides, I kind of like Dwinney too..

This name generator is the best on ive seen so far... even allows you to construct Sylabel, vowel and consanant groupings to get names that fit into lingual patterns and all...

damn fine and better than random letter or fixed sylabel generators

update: - DOH didnt see that some one else had posted that link already... dont i feel stupid

Eh you mean people will have to have a real name (yay)Ive gotten so tired in other games of even trying to roleplay with some dodos .who have names like miner this or battle that they need to learn those are titles and ranks not names ....I go by Lenric btw please to meet yea good people.

I bet lots of people, those who like to role-play, will get on my case because of my name. But to let yall know, I did not make this name out of disrespect or for any other reason besides me just wanting a name. Lenriec is cool, and so is Kada-El, but I think people will, instead of remembering your name, be remembering the end of your blade smacking into their face.  :D

On another note, corsairk (forgot the number part) was talking about what the thing should look like. This is my view:

On the side is a \"fancy-shmancy\" looking name generator. And in the middle is a blank for FIRST NAME, MIDDLE NAME, and LAST NAME.

So when people call themselves \"Ladavas Cortava\" that is their name. Technically they are not \"Ladavas\" they are \"Ladavas Cortava\". So this person does not TECHNICALLY have a last name.

But with the FIRST NAME blank being seperate  (let me repeat that...seperate ) from the LAST NAME blank, you are offically known that after the space in your name is your LAST NAME, not the second part of your name. The middle name would appear to, but it would just be optional.

To become a \"Sir\" or (whatever you call a female that has been knighted) you can only be knighted by a king of queen. I am probably saying something very stupid, but its obviously not only the queen and king of England who can knight you, right?

Anyways, this way you must go see royality and do a quest (and the Sir or whatever would be the reward) or something else to be called Sir so-and-so.

I also found a useful naming resource.  At www.mudconnector.com in the gaming resources section there is a program called The Ever-Changing Book of Names.  It just generates a lot of authentic sounding names.

im not sure what u guys have decided on this thing in the end, but i would  most defently not want to be enforced to have some rpg name picked for me..
i mean dont u think that after all a \"good name\" comes down to a matter of tase?

like subnet_rx said, just moderate names. as long as a nickname picked is not racists or nazi or something offencding to some1, i dont see anythng wrong with it.

i may not know alot about RPGs, but i feel that as more u feel one with your character, the more you want to play, train and treat it..
thats why i\'d feel more confortable if *my* character, was made 100% by me.

They know that, but numbered names like \"1m C001\" or \"George101\" just aren\'t very role-playish. We need names like \"Lacrene\" or \"Derarafus\".

i think cyonamie sounds to japenese or something lol, i dunno, i dont really like naem generators because the names arent orignal, and u hgave to think about if u chose to use name gens. that eventually, the only names left would be sucky ones like, kdlalr or something pathetic like that, i mean what u could do, is not permit numbers to be typed in, and then ban the basic words u think people might use, like Coo1 as bill was saying, or Chik99009
