If this crowd of ignorant peasants didn\'t exist, there would be no heroes nor villains. There would simply be people fighting against eachother for some useless cause. That\'s where other MMORPGs fail. They want everyone to be the hero or the bad guy, and do not think about who is going to make them be the hero or the bad guy. Getting honored by NPCs isn\'t as fun as if real people look up to you as someone cool and heroic.

Sorry, but this release scares me.

I\'m worried about this too (why I would have liked to have seen combat added at a later date).

My hope is that they make the weapons they DO add fairly primative and no particle effects =P. That way it can be roleplayed as a village/city that is still starting out. Afterall, who wouldn\'t want to make weapons out of whatever(no dung-flingers please) they can to defend themselves in a brand new colony (did you leave your brand new colonies in \"civilization\" completely undefended?).

oh, and by the way xordan, that was pretty good. even with someone giving me the resources to grind my artisan, it took me 12 hours to make 4s, and even yet, I can\'t find enough people to teach to get the app to master. right now I have artisan 4/4/4/4 scout 4/0/4/1 marksman 0/3/0/1 and novice CH

I used to frequent the old boards, pre release. I had something like 2k posts there. I got on with several of my friends from there, they\'re mostly all in one guild. they hooked me up with buffs to crank my surveying, and jallion gave me something like 300k in various resources
