History
900 years before this present day, a major, friendly held stronghold was the last foothold in a foreign land. The entire Knights Templar was stationed to protect that city, the city fell in a 3 day siege against 500,000 enemy soldiers and 500 machines of war. At this point, when the army was doomed to fail at this stronghold, the Knights Templar ordered their last-resort plan, they escaped through a tunnel running 2000 feet under the city and to a major seaport. The Knights Templar were ordered through the tunnel, only the Knights Templar could use this.
Although the allies of the Knights Templar fought valiantly, they were all either killed or captured. They were all killed? except for the Knights Templar, they were just able to avoid the massacre and escaped safely to a seaport which escorted them safely back their homeland.
We are the surviving Knights Templar, avoiding certain, and immediate eradication 900 years ago. We have grown since then.
Do you mean 2000 feet below the city or 2000 feet along the city (but only a few feet under it, for example). Because in that case you\'d end up outside Yliakum :/
Besides, there isn\'t such a thing as a \"foreign land\" in Yliakum. You might want to say that you were trying to hold onto the fifth level, but that\'s just bleh. And don\'t forget that the only seaports are on the sixth level. And they don\'t lead to any different lands. Just the far side of the sixth level if anything.
Then again perhaps all this happened in
another stalagtite, in which case you could bypass the whole seaport thing and say that the tunnel lead into the Stone Labyrinths, which then lead you to Yliakum.
I think you should probably try and reconsider your history a bit. RL geography doesn\'t work too well in PS. Also, I am not fully certain that Yliakum is large enough to hold all these huge armies...
I don\'t mean to b*tch, but a guild with an irrelevant history is nearly as bad as a guild based on Metallica
