Your download is probably corrupted. The download is supposed to be 343 MB. If it isn't, try downloading again.

Ah, that tactic only works with PNGs (and other "normal" image formats). You can apply the icns files directly to applications, though, by copying the icns folder into the Contents/Resources folder of the app and renaming it to Planeshift.icns. In fact, I've made a script that will apply all the default icons to game, updater, and setup apps (my updater and setup were blue gems, but they actually have their own icons ). Simply download, decompress, drop in your PS folder, and double-click (yea alliteration!).

Notes:
1. It must be in your main PS folder.
2. It will apply the default icons, so if you wanted to use the plain gem icon for one of the apps, you'll have to apply that manually.
3. It assumes you haven't tampered with the icns files in support/icons (moving, renaming, etc).
4. If you set the icons via the copy/paste method, these settings will override the change we just made. Simply control-click the application with the copy/pasted icon, select "Get Info," click on the icon (in the top left, where you pasted before), and click delete. The default icon (which we just set) should be displayed.

Hi, Caarie,

finally today after the GMs have put my char in Hydlaa Plaza, I wanted to go to Oja and at the gate to Hydlla SSE I got the message load region failed and the client crshed, and cannot restart again. With a second char I have asked for help by the GMs.
So with the version 4.02 I can stay only in Hydlaa Plaza and winch.

It´s got more horrible.

I have one question. Does the Mac Dev read the posts in the forum, Now it is three months with this bugs for the MacPPC. Or is the interest for us Macplayers gone away from the Devs.

What can I do in PS, when I only can stay in Hydlaa Plaza or in winch??  Nothing. - no quests, no trains, no jobs.

For now I wait if the GMs can put my char again in Hydlaa Plaza. And then I only come in the game for meeting my guildfriends.

I am very frustatet, and rest only in PS for the Guild.

If there will not change something, I think to finish the game.

I would recommend force quitting and trying it again.

I would not recommend installing graphics updates directly from a vendor for the Mac. Apple takes care of bundling your graphics updates into its system updates, so don't worry about that. Trying drivers directly from a vendor is more likely to create new problems than to fix existing ones (assuming you can even get them to install in the first place).

Hrmmm... Just to be sure, make sure you have the following lines in psclient.cfg (note both are false):
Video.OpenGL.Shader.Cg.Enable.Fragment=false
Video.OpenGL.Shader.Cg.Enable.Vertex=false

If you haven't already, try reinstalling. I'm not sure what else to try, but if I think of anything, I'll let you know.

EDIT: Note, if you reinstall, make sure you apply all the other fixes, such as changing psclient.cfg again.

Just double-click the .app. Don't open the contents folder.
