The Hydlaa Plaza / ATTENTION I NEED HELP ON My greatest masterwork
« on: February 12, 2004, 09:44:25 pm »
the following is my honors english essay on the book frankenstein. We were told to write an essay discussing our views on if victors creation was evil or not. Here is my final draft, for your intellectual enjoyment. I wrote it in about an hour and a half but the ideas had been in the back of my mind for three days. after production I let a friend edit it, now I\'m posting it here so that anyone with any advice on it could help.I will be turning it in tommorow morning at 7:30 am. it is now 6:42 pm. Anyone with some advice from now till 7:12 (next thirty or so minutes) would be greatly appreciated. Well, without any further blah-blah on my part...here it is.

?Victor the dead beat God:
And his son the ultimate bas-tard?

By: Cedric Henry

The question of Frankenstein being good or evil is a funny one because he, in his monstrous state is actually more human than the world Mary Shelly portrayed in the book.
Forged by human hands, strength and intellect amplified ten-fold, yet alone; shunned by society and lacking the love of Dr. Frankenstein who is, through creating him, his father. He is everything any human, if given his exact circumstances, would be and I argue that it is not him that is evil but the world in which he was thrown into.
Abandoned by his father, who because of his own idealistic views on beauty, refused to receive his newly born child into the world and left to his own to fend off the prejudice of the villagers on an uncalled for lynching mission against him solely on the basis of his physical state. The animalistic side of humanity shines through as mob after mob violently oppose this friendly creature innocently looking for acceptance and maybe comradery in a cold world which seems to have no trace of love in its borders.
Dr. Victor Frankenstein commits the first foul act against him when, on the day of his birth, he judges his baby-like reach for mother to be a death threat. Running out of the room and away from him. Fleeing from all the due responsibility he has to teach, and nurture his child.
The sad and evil part of this story isn?t the revenge he took but his father?s fundamentally ignorant assumption that his creation was evil just because he wasn?t a beautiful creation. He was labeled: Evil from day one. Everyone he saw thought he was evil, even his own father. He was a playful young spirited thing by all of his humble refusals to exact revenge on the humans that pelted him with rocks and chased him with torches. He was a victim of matters which he had no control over and any half-intelligent person with even a drop of empathy could relate. This caused him to be not only shunned by but victimized by society until his ego was thoroughly mutated into the devious being which committed the vengeful acts against his creator. All he wanted from the family he watched and human kind was acceptance. For someone to show him any other emotion except hate. And that wasn?t even possible after he?d repented his sins against Victor, vowing to leave the human world so long as he had a companion; Victor breaking his vow turns on him, forgetting two negatives don?t create a positive and if anything he should be trying to guide his creation on his quest for inner peace and through that was the ultimate dead beat dad.
It is common for children to act out when they are abandoned by a parent.  Growing up without a father or mother figure adversely affects people. Parents shield their children from the worlds trappings and relay information on survival. They lead us to things vital to our positive growth and development of survival skill. At least that?s what they?re supposed to do. Some, like Victor Frankenstein, cast their responsibilities into the wind hoping for them to just blow away while they actually fester into things so vile that they kill you emotionally and destroy innocence.
Victor was dealing with life and death? Things presumable only left to God. Things they say you?d be wise not to fool with ?less you want to feel the mighty hand of God as he punishes those descending from his grace, and there was Victor? running from him. Thinking his creation was a monster? Feel the almighty hand of God.

The Hydlaa Plaza / College Dropout II: Discipline
« on: January 12, 2004, 10:35:15 pm »
God i hate discipline, the idea of reliquishing the power to self govern; To give up mine own and follow some others so that i may gain wisdon...long term good...short term bad. Problem is that i\'ve been programmed from day one by television, modern ways...instant gratification is a pleasure...I need it...it is the crack rock to the base-head to me; The jolt cola and double shot of mocha for the cafiene freak ; The bootylicious hip-hop honey next door for the 18 yr. old virgin to me.
I want that shit, i need that shit, and the discipline it takes to dedicate myself to school seems unreachable
like i need instant gratification so much so that i don\'t even go to strip clubs now that i\'m 18... who needs a dick tease; If your naked in front of me and gesturing sexualy... I\'m gonna need it then and there, all over the club...on stage...the bar, champagne room, vip lounge...
see...I\'m too animilistic to make it at school
maybe i\'ll be a porn star

Poetry, Comedy, and other. / values essay
« on: May 28, 2003, 11:18:23 am »
this is my 11th grade values essay

I got a C cause i turned it in late. it kinda sucks but i gotta keep writting...its the only way i\'ll get better, anyway read it and tell me what you think about it

A persons values are the ideas they live by. They?re day-

to-day operating system; basically what makes me, me

and you, you.

Although we may share a lot of the same fundamental

details in our ideas, it?s the little differences that

drastically shape ones character.

These values are a person?s very essence. Without

these its safe to say our society couldn?t exist.

We take in information or situations and develop views

. Then (depending on the intelligence level) we research

to find facts that support or prove false our ideals and

decide if the information deserves the right to become

something of value or if it is irrelevant, immoral junk.

This ability to gain complex opinions about things is one

of the core abilities that make us human.

We get our values from many places; mostly

our parents in the beginning but later  people in our

society and peers, television and environment and just

recently within the last 5-10 years the Internet. The

Internet is revolutionizing human society. Allowing us to

function more and more as a collective allowing us to

gain more and more information from places the

adverage person might not ever see in there life time.

The internet is a vast forum in witch humans not only

watch but interact with and shape there media. This

allows for and explosive exchange of information that

witch humanity has never seen before. This is the

future?this the new platform where we will gain

information and have our values and opinions shaped

until the next great information revolution.

The Hydlaa Plaza / matrix 2
« on: May 23, 2003, 10:16:13 am »
I saw the matrix two and loved it. I thought it was cool how they incorporated so much depth into the movie discussing existence from a scientific viewpoint and all but I found alot of people didn\'t like the ending. I thought it was good adding some suspense with the machnine and man side by side. anyway, I was wondering what others thought about it.

Guilds Forum / message to the K's

The whole \"ruling class\" concept was thought up by me.
so \"the k\'s\" will have to excuse my laughs when i see them speak about ruling anything. And recently alot of weak attempts at tarnishing the hitman image were made
I resent the implications of your posts,

I was not widely disliked....
Maybe an aquired taste to some, but not hated...

so
close yah lips bout the hitman clan/scope.

it\'s like if i bag on you, people see me as an alternate and more real, if you bag on use, you just lower urslef and look stupid.
and i\'m smart enough to see this and come up with a better guild growing model than you could ever dream of
so like nas said: \"You better hate me now...\".
cause You can\'t stop the hitman clan....
and you look stupid trying.

think about this...If we were just a bunch of hated noobs who tried to put together a clan...why are you so heated by use??

The Hydlaa Plaza / Pepsi ludacris petition
« on: April 14, 2003, 01:22:49 pm »
I would like to take the time to post a link to a site that is doing something good on the free speech/social equality frontier.

please read and sign this petition to support the idea that bigots can\'t just destroy a persons \"hustle\" because they have the false assumption that rap and hip-hop music is \"Evil\".
It is far too easy for some jackass on television to attack a rap artist because they feel he is \"disgraceful\".
Anyone who has an adequate understanding of what hip-hop is knows that artists build up from there surroundings and its just so happens that most African americans live in the worst parts of what some call the land of the free. this is caused by certain prejudices that the majority hold, that still ring through today.
Hip-hop is an abstract representation of life and love. And just because an artist says something that turns switchs doesn\'t make it immoral. What is immoral is how pepsi gave ludacris the boot said that he was \"Controversial\". then going off and hiring a just as controversial artist (ozzy). but thats all ok cause he\'s white and does rock. This doesn\'t evem bother me. What sickens me is that this moron doesn\'t realize that hip-hop is poetry and to understand poerty you have to first understand the artist and not just take what you hear at face value and then label it :\"Devils music\".

Anyone, with a semi adequat I.Q. whos purchased an
eminem Cd. Realizes that his music isn\'t what the media  makes it out to be. Its gritty-grimy and  hard cutting and this may drive some away, thats ok and understandable But dont let yourself be lent to narrow-mindedness or cause you to lie and defame an artists work simple because you dont like what he says.
It sounds grim; duh, these artists come from grim places. but listen carefully and you\'ll realize that these artists music is really a triumphant blow of the human spirit. Not only do they allow you to feel all the bad, but the good aswell.

Please go to:
http://www.petitiononline.com/ludakris/petition.html

and support free speech and morality

Poetry, Comedy, and other. / account of death
« on: April 08, 2003, 11:57:17 am »
here is a little some\'n i wrote
-------------------------------------------

Monacco

Dear journal,

Today I looked death in his face and lived to tell about it. I?ve walked with death, hand in hand and then somehow been able to get away from his grim clasp. You?d never know how it is to walk with death. It?s like knowing beyond a doubt that you?re dead, saying your last prayer, making your peace with god, accepting it; then, miraculously coming back from the grim stupor. I?ve seen all the evil in man concentrated down to one cup of fine wine; I?ve sipped the wine of death and its scary. First it curls up into your insides, seemingly pulling your stomach from you then handing it to the congs. Who consume it. Spite it up and onto the ground where it crawls, leaving a slim trail of bubbling reddish green transparent sludge. The sludge mutates into all things vile and perverted. It stands teen feet tall, 20-30-40- gradually growing massive enough to consume you; It stands over you as if to swallow you whole. Its continence so up close and personal you can feel its sour breathe. Breathing so warm it threatens to melt your face. You stand there unable to move, day-dreaming and another part of you is conscious that for every second you spend transfixed, a bit of your very essence is vanquished and sent to a swirling red void never o be seen again. You spend twenty seconds in hell but on its counterpart you?ve been there for months, years and sadly you realize that you?ve only become conscious of this reality only since you?ve stared the beast in the face and although you live to tell about it, if you can call existence after the beast life. You find your self wandering the open hallways of your own mind and uncover another startling fact: that your existence is more like being a zombie. Your not quite alive, just your body and some animalistic conciousness. You?re nothing more than a unit in a swarm of the living dead. Mind numb, body alert and ever ready to sedate the mind more, if need be. And whenever you do actually happen to swim up from this mindset, all you find yourself thinking is: ?I?m alive, but why??
