Wish list / Click from container to Inventory

Currently if you select an item from a container; then click in your inventory it just auto allocates its self.

It would be nice if when clicking in your inventory; it actually goes where you click it.

and you cancel it , and it continues to play, even thou you can move around again.

Development Deliberation / Making a Lemur Model

Ok i did a search didn't find any threads on lemur's or lemur models

Wondering if anyone else is interested in this , or is already working on one.

Having a go at sketching a shape. got a sorta placid looking one and an evilish one.

Not going to work with blender for now ... I feel so utterly confused in that interface , unlike other 3D modeling programs I have used
But looks Very intricate

Wish list / Repeat last statement

Would be nice (espcially when the server goes down after getting quest info)

If you could implement a NPC feature
say the chat command "repeat last response"

so we could get the quest info again for the last step we started with them.

many places with common declip problems such as leaving beneath laanx's temple

My wish is that instead of using /die and ending up at your respawn location with the curse

is that when you fall beneath a certain height you get teleported back to your starting location.

i dont know how GM's normally deal with this (teleport people somewhere near by on the surface of the land), but there is hardly ever a GM on while im playing

Wish list / Stat Cap Proposoal for the Future

that each race has a Set number of Physical stats to possibly allocate/train
and a set number of mental stats to allocate/train

Currently everything is set to a max of 200

Well as a mage like character i think it would be great to use my 600 physical stats in a differnt manner
like 120 strength 140 endurance and 340 agility seen as how i need to avoid blows and not deal them
then focus my mental stats towards the ways i wanted to focus in.

Same for the warriors , if you wanted to be a hard hitter , up the strength down the agility.

Also i was thinking this sort of formula could also be incorporated against Job Skills / combat skills / magic skills.

The Why for Jobs
- To force people to become specialists if you want to be good at any job
- To encourage trade
- To encourage team work

The Why for Way skills
- To become more efficient at what you do
-To feel like your character really is a blue way / crystal way mage ect...

The why for Combat.
-So you have a perfered weapon style
-So your alternative weapons for different styles  are secondary in the end


Over all Why
so there is some sort of differance between each player to expand on individuality and increase uniqueness which will hopefully create enough differance to amplify the role playing enviroment.

** But of course this is a pointless addition at this stage , as the number of skills avaliable is limited and so many people have already maxxed everything in particular areas.

edit : it will also make you more inclined to follow the path you made in character creation

General Discussion / Time Frame on Race ReStrictions

ok i've searched the forums for a few hours. still not sure where to go , my time is running out , im putting this post here in hopes it's somewhat the right place :)

I was wondering about when the Race Restrictions will be implemented.

Is it planned for when everyone's stats are reset.

or do you plan to just drop everyones skills that have gone beyond their race's upcomming limits.
i think that would be a good idea. and would help discourage Sword Weilding Lemurs and Spell casting Krans for example.

I understand that the infravision and night vision will require some sort of OpenGL overlay to represent the viewing differance.
and would enforce the use of many more torches , limiting dual weilding in caves or durring night time.

i think these implimentations are crusial (sp?) or Critical to hammering in a Theme to the Yilikum World.
Cos franky right now race choices determine how you look , and the role players are getting angry with the powerlevelers because they dont understand they are not
meant to have high magic or weapon skills because of the race they are.

Not meant as a flame. Just a wondering ;'D

In-Game Roleplay Events / Camp Banished

the young lemur approached the signs , and thought what a mess.

He hacked some branches down with a tattered battle axe.
Then began casting fire busrt's constantly
eventually the branches erupted in a great flame.

He then hid into the night *giggiling* as these so called rouges rouges were stumbling out of there tents to see what was up.

As day light broke and the smuldering heap of char under the tree remained . he left for hydlaa thinking how good it was he doesnt have ash on his boots.

General Discussion / What a game to take your time in.

Sure you have jumped into 100 other "Role Playing Games"

This is just not the same in every fashion.
The NPC interface doesnt even remind me of antiques from the 80's & 90's

The NPC interface is a bit warped (but it does force you to learn to spell things correctly , take notes , & speak in simple terms to communicate with people of differnt languages)

The Tutorial , demonstrates how to use the simple game mechanics , so you have enough knowledge to have an understanding of how to interact with where things.

I do think that some further game mechanics should be explained . or at least mentioned. like a list of command in game commands to use the game mechanics.

Starting the game having no clue as to where to go or what to do could be infuriating , (if you apply yourself as in infant in a new world it all comes clear)

Trudge your way through the world , be polite like it says , and people aid you ,

Restrain yourself from talking out of character ,and people respond to you in a far more pleasant way.

A huge community is really here , we just have to open our eyes to it , and have some patients.(you cant beat this game in a week)

I Have enjoyed my first 3 days here , and hope i pass some knowledge onto other new players.

If you get frustrated , Stop , think about what is related to what your doing. and look for someone who might be involved with that.

There is religeon and predetermined character traits to each race , and how they intermingle. (try follow these guide lines.)

You can spend 24 hours and get no where.

you can wait 30 mins - 1 hour for help , and go a long way.

This game is about patients just like the real world :)

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / stuck in a hole

I ran past "Zak" and thought it was another light-less tunnel

nope a small drop

cant use unstick

cant do nothing
can hardly manage to click the NPC

anways long story short i had to use /die , after reading for more commands lol.

Would be nice if unstick could work when your not declipped as it has a time delay on it anyways.

Newbie Help (Start Here) / Clarification in Leveling skills

Once the small blue bar at the top of a skill is all the way to the right.

you have enough progression points to visit the right Trainer.

Buy the skill.

then the bar will change to a bit of green and red.

Practise the skill till the bar is full green and you level up that skill.



Stats -:- , strength agility endurance intelligence ect

When you have blue bars all the way and you visit the right trainer.
the upgrade is instant.

Complaint Department / Bugged Mobs

 :'(

Well engage a mob , run back a bit

they get stuck do circles

re-engage them 70% of time they will not attack you.

I dont know if this a counter bug from making it possible to run away.

I do know it's whack that i can walk away afk fighting with my saber with = Sword skill.
and come back with mana hehe >:)

and the other bugged Mob bug is if you engage them on a corner , or next to a stone.

they get stuck , they just swivel on the spot , rather than pace back and forth looking for a path.

I searched bugged Mobs , i got no finds , so i posting this.

Probably the biggest issue i found , i just jammed for about 8 hours
