Excellent :P Clarification again..do the numbers between the opponents have to be equal or can it be like 1 vs 5, 4 vs 5, 10 vs 2...kinda thing? Also will we be...nevermind I think that question is alittle out there...I will save it for later :P Seeing the words Guild Wars and not being about that game \"Guild Wars\" gets me all excited.

A guild is a guild, no matter if it has 5 members or 100 members. It\'s up to the challenged guild to accept a fight, so if it\'s unfair... then don\'t accept. :)

I just wanted to know the terms of battle in numbers, thinking I have a problem with unfair fights? No..no lol I would rather fight against the odds then a fair fight so thanks for that tid bit of information you have made my day Grono :P

Q1: How many clients can one sever support? I mean the max client number as the server side design. (Common hardware such as P4 2G,512MB...)


Q2: How many maps can one sever load at the same time? map = sector? What\'s the max size of one map?


Q3: Because clients can build their own objects,such as house,models...,can clients build maps online?

BTW: where can I download the documents of Planeshift\'s design,development, and test?

We don\'t have exact numbers at the moment but I estimate we should be able to easily handle a few hundred users at the same time. Maybe more.

The server loads all maps but in a more condensed form (no textures/lightmaps/...)

Where did you hear that? It is currently not possible to have clients build your own objects. This will not be possible in CB. *Perhaps* this will be possible in a future release but not at the moment.

Testing is closed. You\'ll have to wait until it is released. As to design documents and things like that, these are also closed and only for developers.

Oh, I learned that from a post in this forum.It said that a guild can build its own house depends on the available resource. That is so cool. I like it very much.Hope it will come true in a near future release. :)

\"Building our own guild house\" actually means building it, as in modelling it in 3ds max or another program :)

A1: To begin with, it\'ll be hosted on the same server as MB is now, but if it takes too much traffic, they will move it to a more powerful, independant server.

A2: It\'s gone.
