Internet connection is probably messed up.

Either that, or your hard drive is having problems.

Check your motherboard too.

It's best to try and isolate the problem, find out if it's hardware or software.

k, let's take this step by step.

1) What type of internet do you have, and how do you connect to it?
Dsl?  Cable? Dial-up?

2) Do you have a firewall, if so which one?
If you don't know what a firewall is, best bet is you don't have one.

Not sure if it's connection lag or game performance lag but try going into in-game options, then details, and setting adaptive camera distance. You can also try setting "Max FPS" slider down to 30 to make it more consistent. If that doesn't help, try going into PlaneShift Setup (from Start>All Programs>PlaneShift Cystal Blue), and check the box that says "Load All Maps". It should be ok with the amount of RAM you have.

I'm only at 1.5 mbps, I ping 240, 2 gig ram, 2.8 (dual core processor).

I've also seen you in game, i was the one who gave you money and took you to the arena (Restound).

I've seen you lag, but i thought it was your connection.... but bro, your connection is GREAT!

I have NO IDEA what soever it could be.

All i can guess, is you have a hardware problem.

By the way, do you have a 32 bit processor like me, or a 64 bit? I've heard 64 bits either can't play the game or lag like crazy when they do.

Please post your graphics card for us. In the Window's Run command, type dxdiag, and look at the Display tab. The important info is highlighted in the red box:



Also, if you have a firewall and/or router, you might have to enable port 7777.

Right, I wrote my reply before he mentioned his connection, it warned me about mutiple messages posted since my reply and if I wanted to review them, I said No, since it's a sound advice either way.

By the way, D-Link he mentioned is a company name that makes NICs, routers, and similar stuff. And even if his connection is really 11mbps (mine is 10mbps), it could still be a problem if something is screwed up in Windows and if it's not optimized. Could also be that his ISP is having problems with a router in his area.

makevali, try going to www.speedguide.net, download TCPOptimizer program, set the slide to 11mbps (11000kbps) and click "Optimal Settings", then reboot your computer, and try playing online.

The speed is amazing.... i'd love to have that, and would pay 40-50 bucks a month for it if it was available.

How does D-link work? I'm guessing it doesn't go through phone lines, or cable lines, maybe some sort of satallite system?

As for your Graphics card, your fine, PS isn't graphically challenging, i have a 256 Megabyte card too.

Unless your playing Oblivion or some other graphically challenging games, your good. For PS your perfect.
