I don't know I have no idea what your router setup screen looks like. Remember me mentioning the manual? This is the part where it would really really help you out.

Do you see anything about "ports" or "forwarding," and if not is there any "Advanced" link or button?

If this wasn't a possible fix, I wouldn't be posting about it. The problem may be something else - something neither one of us has control over. Your connection to the server does after all travel quite an amount. But doing these steps may help.

If you mean the screenshot: you can either use the Print Screen button on your keyboard, paste the shot into a graphic editing program (like Photoshop) and save, or you can use another piece of software for the entire process, like SnagIt (there are many free alternatives around). Once you have the image saved on your computer, there are instructions on posting pictures on the forums here.

something i just noticed is that when i quit the game this window pops up and says:

It doesn't.. :} That error happens for everyone every time they exit the game, but it doesn't affect anything at all - and it's fixed in the next release. You didn't answer my questions however, a habit I'd like you to avoid.

1) Did you find anything saying "port" or "forwarding" or similar within your router setup?
2) Did you manage to ask your brother for help, or is there anyone else in your household who may be able to do this for you?

That's not how this works :> I don't have access to your router - you have it there for protection as much as to connect multiple computers to one cable/DSL modem.

I'm out of suggestions. Someone else will have to come along and pick up from here.
