batdude, this is mainly your inspiration.
I\'m now 18, and I started my whole programming carrer when I was 14. Before that, I only PLAYED. I did \"Hello world!\" and other primitive progs at your age, and you know what: I don\'t care! I only feel pity for you, as you have surely lost your childhood - but if it\'s good for you...
I know you feel yourself big now. It is simple psychology: you can (probably) do things what way older people than you can do, so you consider yourself mentally at their level. Well, I tell you, because you say some \"magic\" words, that the majority just marks as \"only doable by super-good programmers\", or try to shout as loud as you can that you are a Linux geek, won\'t get you in their world. I can even say things about programming, that you would just stare at with open mouth. So, with your words: \"To me your a newbie\" - completely.
If you were truly a really good programmer, then you wouldn\'t have shouted so loud... With this style you can only make yourself look ridiculous.
Sorry about this, but I just don\'t like little kids think they are bigguns. And I\'m not just judging you \"on one thing\". A personality is not one thing.
If you still don\'t get what I tried to say, look at Rulzern\'s posts - I just got it to know, he is 15, and I considered him at least 18 (I just picked someone, but I have seen an other 14 year old \"newbie\" who was way more mature than you).
