Yeah, the shoulder is messed up. I have to redo those UVs but redoing UVs is a pain so that I will do some other time. It's not like they are going anywhere. I can take out the shadow on the little butterflies but it makes them harder to see as looking at this from the scale of a character, you wouldn't be as close to it and wouldn't see as much detail. On the subject of wax, it apparently has a lot of sources as it used to be that you got it from pressed Rivnak fur. I might add to the tree but trees often have open spaces in them. Since using planes is the normal cheat for trees, I won't worry about it so much. Next time I make a tree, I might just make the planes less obvious in a different way. I have an idea.
Here's some cheat props made from some of my old artwork for textures.
This is a box:
This is a screen. Moral of the story: Never use jpgs for textures.
This is a porcelain plate. People familiar with my work may recognize it.
And this is a plain one... I would prefer it be actually round but that would be an obscene amount of polys for one item. This picture is dark due to some lighting issues, I may just lighten is in photoshop later.
I think I will either start on tailors' stuff or knick knacks for the curios shop.
