Some probing questions for the settings team, if they thing they should give any answers:

-What is the population of Hydlaa city?

-What is the diameter of the first level of Yliakum (and the square miles)?

-The other levels?

-How many earth-years old is civilization in Yliakum?

-How come trees in Yliakum have the interesting ability to grow right out of bricked concrete? ;D

and finally,

-Does it ever snow in Yliakum?

Your questions about diameters are already answered ingame. I won't tell you where, though.  :flowers:

Been pointed to this thread so here goes :)

My character is somewhat involved in poisons so I would love to know how the settingsteam is thinking this will most likely work. I'm interested in particular in how poisons would be made in general and how magic would be used in this.

Alchemy mentions magical ingredients, but becuase glyphs are described as a way to use your own energy to make something happen I am wondering how you could use glyphs to create something magical. Would there be a new glyph with this ability or would existing glyphs be used?

Also I'm wondering how strict poison is forbidden. Is it allowed to use poison for hunting for example? How severe would someone be punished for being caught with a poisoned blade? How fast would something be considered a poison, seeing many substances can be both a poison or a medicin depending the ammount used or with what you mix it with.

Last a question about death not completely related. True death is said to happen if a body is damaged to a certain degree. What degree would this be and what gets healed enough during transport for the body to function again?

I figured true death occurs when something changes your natural state to something which cannot survive on it's own.  For example: if you die of old age, or stay in the Death Realm too long, then your natural state is an old person about to die; if you go too close to the crystal, than your body is transmuted, so your natural state might be a big hunk of lead.  In either case, you'd die before you completely revived, so you never show up in either Death Realm or Yliakum.

(I'm not on the settings team, so I'm talking through my hat, but it makes sense...)

and when consumer eat you.
Wait, each time consumer kills you, you are not perma dead.
So the setting has to come up with reason.

What you can failure tommorow, failure today.

Well the reason I'm asking this is becuase it's mentioned that the body is transported to the deathrealm, but it's also mentioned that true death can happen from damaging the body.

But if you die useally that means that your body is damaged to a point that you can't live anymore so this would mean people are getting healed when transported to the deathrealm or they would still be dead on arival. I mean if you are poisoned and you are teleported to the deathrealm with the poison still in your blood the body will be as unable to function as before the teleporting. Same with a sword in your chest. Seeing you teleport with your belongings if your opponent doesn't get it out before you teleport you would arive with the sword still in your chest. So I'm wondering what is healed and what isn't. That is kind of a need to know kind of thing for an assasin. ;)

The body vanishes from the live world, and is recreated whole and uninjured in the DR with all your items, and the 'soul' is moved with it. True Death is when your body does not vanish in the live world for some reason, by it magic, special poisons, specific illness, old age, or for some reason you are one of the unlucky people who can not be transfered to the DR (there are many of these, though no players are amoung them.)

You can also die True Death -in- the DR, if you are not careful.

Well in several books there already a mention of poisons that can bring true death. One book in the deathrealm I believe mentions the poison bringing true death becuase it teleports with you and keeps killing you. So the rules don't seem to be all that clear ;)

I thinkl the soulbody theory and a body being recreated as a "reward" for managing to get out of the DR sounds a lot more logic. Or atleast make it so people aren't sure witch of the two it is ;)

Things you should now be able to find in game:

- life expectancy of all races

- a little more about the gods, including the ones that aren't laanx and talad

- more about various animals

- and lots, lots more! Remember, we are listening to you so keep with the questions, cause we'll get answers. :)
