 I think Drak is afraid that if the Cabal persists he might just end up losing his precious little guild . How would he play Mr Big Glorified Defender guy without it? What his fear prevents him from seeing is if not for us his guild would be redundant.

And sure there\'ll be other evil guilds but I bet few of them would reach the standards of the Cabal. We have the finest evil minds of the realms with us. We also would be recruiting in the future and there is nothing preventing future evil incarnates from joining us. They\'ll get an already existing infrastructure and plenty of opportunity for personal glory or notoriety (we are evil remember. Ascension in the ranks through underhanded means doesnt get you kicked out here .

Err...I thought you weren\'t evil, just jerks; I thought you said there was a distinction?  Sounds like the Cabal is starting to contradict itself...

Perhaps someone should form a counter-organization to the Cabal?  Instead of being Jerks, they\'d be Nice.  Instead of plotting against guilds, they\'d assist them in all their affairs.  This would be the only solution to all these Cabal discussions, actions do speak louder than words, after all.

Now, I\'m sure Drak doesn\'t appreicate this OT discussion in his recruitment thread, so vominos, and take this discussion (if there is anything to discuss) to another thread.

Maybe they untherstand that good guilds can\'t protect members if there isn\'t an enemy. There won\'t be any combat without an enemy. That there won\'t be any place for forcing protection fee\'s from noobs  . In other words, there would be nothing to do in the game if there weren\'t any evil guilds. If you don\'t like evil guilds, than join a good one and battle them, if you like to act evil, than just join an evil guild and start being a pain in the ass for other players. People like to have oposittion. It makes them feel there is some point in live.

At least that\'s what I think.

P.S. even \"jerk guilds\" can be good for game play (Good players getting commitment to protect noobs). In the end it will all come to haveing something to do I guess.

Draklar, I don\'t know, why u don\'t like Cabal guild as an evil guild, I think it\'s fun to fight with them, \'cos they are gonna do a lot of trouble for u. if u want \"NORMAL EVIL GUIDS\" it\'s ok, but the question is: \"what do u understand by Normal Evil guild?\" by all means, CABAL is a Normal evil guild, since they intend to do evil things like killing good guys, corrupting guilds etc. If u wan\'t \"normal evil guilds\" not to do this, then what kind of evil it will be? Sounds more like good or neutral.

Attack newbies, making people mad by their stupid (and childish) behavior, put their fake chars in other guilds. I would have much more fun in fighting stronger enemy, like those dark-knights, and neutral-evil warriors. It would be real clash of good and evil. There would come politics and both sides would be a few allied guilds. I think it\'s more fun than brainless \"we will take over the world\" :rolleyes:

fun to fight them? you know, they are just going to do spying, and in some unearthly :rolleyes: way they\'ll destroy all guilds from within. and yea, they will be sooooo dangerous for all of us. That is Mirth\'s philosophy as well.  Of course, the fight against Cabal will have very little open fighting.  If they carry out their informer threat it will very likely be an espionage war.  

We of Mirth will not allow any Cabal members in our ranks.
