Guys, okay.
I got XP installed on my PC cause my 98 was pretty crappy. And I had the whole system formated.
Now, since the dudes who installed the program, most likely couldn\'t read they ignored my instructions and installed a bunch of crappy programs after. Sooo, now I want to do a bit of formating myself, but I\'ve never done it before.
I was wondering if when formating, the operating system goes with the rest of the C: Drive. Cause I haven\'t got XP pro on a disc or anything. What should I do Dr. Hotdog?

Who else finds the world of Planeshift to be too imaginative?
interesting to say the l.... actually that would be the wrong word completely.

Why is it that its wrong to let some players start out with an advantage over others. For example, to become a jedi one can \"become\" force sensitive and then become a padawan. Why is it not so that only a few gifted individual players can become jedi due to their ownage of excessive medichloreans (which is decided when the character is created)? Thats how it works in the films. Because at the moment the whole game is overrun by jedi. God, SOE is so bad. How can people with so little vision work on a game who\'s influences span throughout the whole world?

I updated plaeshift in recover mode. Then, with almost everything working, I found out that PSsetup wasn\'t working.
Apparently I\'m preforming \"an illegal operation\"...., atleast that\'s what the pop up box says before the black window is closed down.
Also then, I ran Planeshift, and it was working fine, up until I chose my character and started loading the actual game, I wasn\'t sure where it stopped but I\'m pretty sure the same box appeared, I\'ll try to run it again to make sure exactly what it says when I try to get in.....

edit - OKay I checked it and the illegal activities box does indeed appear, but before it does another box appears stating that there was a problem with CB and something about and exerption at address: 7c00724a
and the exerption code being: c0000005

Whats wrong?

I am about 16 (wait, I am 16, lol) and I can\'t wait to find out what science has to offer me in my up-coming life.
I found out recently about the technology to stop aging. I wonder if it can be implemented into a living person, or weather it has to be injected into the single fertilised egg? I really really want to live forever.
For one that would allow me to furfill my dearest dream. Which is, to fly and live forever in a space-ship, searching for other inteligent life. Man, that would be so sweet. No wonder why I can\'t find a profession for myself. This is what I want to do, its be an astronaut. Yay for me!
If I cannot live forever, then there will realy be no point in gowing to space in search of other sentient species, they\'ll probuably be millions of light-years away, anyway.
So the next best thing will be to fly to mars and set up life there. I want to be one of the first to go there and live there. Perfect peace, harmony and the sence of gradioure (sp?), whilst I read some OSC and play some Advent Rising, whilst watching Ender\'s Game the movie on the Dual Screen.

Anyway, something else that I was wondering about. Does anyone else know about this...it is possible to stop light in its tracks and then a couple of secs/mins/hours later (or whichever time period) let it go again. So for example you shine a light onto this clear box with certain gases in them, the light doesn\'t come out the other end. the you change these gases in the box and the light sines through the other end.
Wat I hear was that this would lead to super-powerful computers. So when are they gonna implement this stuff onto notebook computers. Cause I really want to get a laptop, but whats the point of wasting money on second-grade stuff?

also I can\'t finnish my character because I am somehow (unintentionally) making \"invalid\" choices.
Also, is it just me or is the character creation interface a bit too, \"OVERLAPPING\"

You Devs not SAY SOMETHING!
FFS, is it so hard to put in a word in the forums or on the website once in a while. I mean tell us what\'s going on, right now. If nothing but testing then inform us of your decisions about the features that shall be in the game, what we can and can\'t do. Right now you have a bunch of people talking about this and that, random stuff. Which really is only because they have nothing else to talk about. 4/5 of them are newbies, and the oldbies are keeping quite because they know that nothing that they say will matter, cause they know that:
1) no info is ever given to us about the game.
2) we don\'t even know if you guys read the threads.
I mean its obvious that you won\'t respond to this thread cause, well this is a hard thing to respond to, i mean i don\'t even know what I would say to some things that I type. But at  the very least, if you guys have no time to do anything, cause you are so busy, could you just like, hire someone ( no pay included) from all of your fans to slowly give out information about the game when it seems like the community is going crazy. I mean i wouldn\'t make posts like this usually.  8o

PS: screw everyone who wants to argue the purpose, oor watever, of this post.
PS 2 : Because you are not giving us any info about the game we can be forgiven for asking things like : \"why is the game not ready?\" and \"where is CB?\". I mean its not like you guys have given us any explanation of why CB is not here right now. However if you were able to keep us more informed, atleast then, you would have a more sympathetical group of fans that would understand your problems and offer help most of the time.

You know, we\'re gonna find out when the game is out anyway, so i was wondering if you could tell us if Martial Arts will be part of CB.
I want to know because that is what I was planning to do and if it\'s not gonna be in place might as well start re-plannning my character.
I won\'t feel bad if you don\'t reply.
