I did not try yet, but I plan to create an account as well. Likely during the winter holidays I may come to it.

Kind of an automap like feature would be nice. I see several possibilities to integrate that into the game also RP wise.

1) First I would not let is show something that you did not explore yet, except maybe a few places that are important to visit as a new player.

2) Quests could add locations onto the map. Say Harnquist told you where to find Levrus, so you know.

3) Level of detail or accuracy could depend on some skill like intelligence of the char.

Just some ideas.

I can confirm. As I ran into this. Update did not successfully complete and resulting 0.7.15 had a segmentation fault on startup. Thus I re-installed 0.7.13 and upgraded from there again. That worked nicely.

True, true, Gonger. I'd also point out that there is PSUnreal, Eroton. And it might be good for you to try it out. Beta access is for long-term players or people who donate. More testers for PSUnreal would be most welcome,

Finally with my new ThinkPad T14 AMD with AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U which should have Vega 7 graphics I am able to test play PSUnreal on Linux. I really love what I see.

I found that when going through a Pterosaur handler quest to travel to a city nothing happens. So I bet it is not implemented yet. Which is interesting, as I have to figure out the way to Amdeneir myself then. I already searched around Gugrontid quite a bit but did not find a way. Well… I will eventually figure it out. So likely Damola will standing on the same roof than is shown in the screenshot if its reachable without GM commands :)

 Ah so we can look into this list before an event to see what kind of season it might be?

I sometimes feel confused how to RP and play about time in PlaneShift. Days are faster in PlaneShift than in RL and I get the reason for that. But when during events it gets dark, while we supposedly are still playing during day time… I usually ignore the real in game time and pretend it is not yet night for example.

Similar with the current weather system.

Yes, I really love how the world all as one.  :)

The 0.7.8 client also updated to the 0.7.9 without a glitch.

Unfortunately I usually get a "connection timed out" message. Either before being shown the character selection dialog or shortly thereafter.
