This might already be answered but it is a mystery to me and I cannot find it in the Guide.

Obviously Hydlaa is on the top level. What are the climates and and settings on the other levels? How do races interact on other levels? Is it the same or could it be different? s it like different countries maybe?

i want to know how the statue in the arena that appears to be a mage with a floating ball between her hands is done... who enchanted those statues?  is the effect permanent or has to be renewed?  are there other such enchantments?

More information on religions in general would be nice.

Structure of preisthoods, holy items and magical properties thereof, how organized religion reacts to disorganized religion (eg, cults, lay-preachers, etc), celibacy of priests, religious symbolism (snakes in laanx temple, why?), mythos of religions in more 'recent' times (now we have the creation story and a 1000-mile overview, would be nice to have parables or stories of the gods in peoples lives), any prophets, holy texts in general, worship practices (singing and dancing? solemn introspection? bloody sacrafice?)

And my character is an atheist... hmm... know thy enemy :]

We do, actually - Xillix may wish to explain them further, but there is an answer about Kran reproduction here, and something about racial life spans here.

Our Q&A round was paused because Talad had very little to zero time to provide the answers, or to approve those coming from the other devs. Knowing how incredibly active Xillix is, however, and now that he is Settings leader, we might be able to open the Q&A again. This might be it, actually - I might want to sticky the thread in that case :)

You're mistaken. There are in fact THREE sets of bi-racial married couple NPCs currently in game. There might even be more because some NPCs are mentioned as married to people you can't see and whose race is not noted. But at least three.

Karyuu, my hope with this thread is not to answer questions, but to derrive a sense of what the players and gms and/or devs feel needs to be written. By and large much of what has been asked i question myself. I am just trying to prioritize my tasks based on the community's perceptions of PS's needs.

On the topic of the Q&A, i would be willing to aid in reviving that or having settings team answer those questions and submit to talad.

This thread is more intended to see what books or other settings assets people would like to see next etc.

Zhai are you sure you have read all the books in game? There are about 6 new ones . . .

Jeraphon is a great aid, his attention to detail and engagement with story oriented game features while a player translates into a damn fine settings dev.
